“Gender Matters: Increasing Influence, Improving Productivity, and Making Drama Disappear” is the topic of a luncheon and afternoon workshop at the April 10 meeting of CREW. The real estate industry is largely dominated by men, and CREW says in a press release that female professionals in the industry often say they want to better understand male bosses, colleagues, subordinates and customers. Shaunti Feldhahn, author of “The Male Factor,” will shares results of a nationwide survey and confidential interviews with more than 3,000 men, and talk about men and women in the workplace, including flextime, compensation, emotions and even clothing. The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. in the Washington Athletic Club, 1325 Sixth Ave. The workshop will go deeper into Feldhahn's findings from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is $50 for members and $70 for non-members and the walk-in fee is $60 for members and $75 for non-members.
