Portland food-cart pods getting displaced by new apartments

  • They're starting to disappear as a development boom takes hold in the neighborhoods that the food carts helped popularize.

    PORTLAND — Portland gave the world the concept of the food-cart “pod” — clusters of mobile eateries stationed semi-permanently in parking lots.
