SEATTLE — The Seattle-Bellevue area ranks as the second best U.S. city for graduates in science, technology, engineering and math, according to a report from Jones Lang LaSalle, with an average mean wage for STEM jobs of $95,731 and a median monthly rent of $1,079. Almost 13 percent of Seattle area jobs are in STEM fields.
The top market for STEM grads is San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara with an annual mean wage of $111,745 and a median rent of $1,560. JLL said in this market 17 percent of jobs are in STEM occupations.
