Crews from Mortenson Construction topped out the office portion of Touchstone's Hill7 project at Stewart Street and Boren Avenue.
Hill7 will have an 11-story, 300,000-square-foot office tower and a 14-story, 222-room Hilton Garden Inn. The office portion is scheduled to open in February, according to a press release, and the hotel will be done next June.
Principal Real Estate Investors is Touchstone's partner in the project, which is at 1821 Boren Ave. Construction began in summer 2013.
International architecture firm Aedas and local architect Johnson Braund are designing Hill7. Mortenson is the general contractor, and Magnusson Klemencic Associates is structural engineer.
Greg Inglin and Tony Ford of Colliers International are in charge of office leasing.
The building will have an open lobby with three retail spaces, one of which will be Freshy's Coffee, a 10-year-old West Seattle business. There also will be seating, meeting spaces, a communal table and displays of local art. Hill7 will have a deck on the second level, a large common room with audio-visual equipment, showers and bike storage space.
Across the street from Hill7 at 1812 Boren Ave., Touchstone is planning another big mixed-use project: Tilt 49, with an 11-story office building and a 36-story residential tower.
