Church ready for restoration on 5th

SEATTLE — A final free holiday concert will be held at noon Tuesday in Daniels Recital Hall, the historic former First United Methodist Church sanctuary at Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, before it is closed for restoration.

The announcement comes from Daniels Real Estate and Stockbridge Capital Group. They are developing Fifth + Columbia, a 43-story office tower and SLS luxury hotel adjacent to the 1906 Beaux Arts sanctuary.
