BEND, Ore. (AP) — Bend officials say policies that limit the density of short-term rental homes is effectively curbing the growth of vacation rentals.
The Bulletin reports (http://is.gd/2BqT9O ) residents began complaining of too many visitors in summer 2014 due to homes serving as short-term rentals. The City Council responded by imposing a density limit on rentals in April 2105, which prevents two rentals form being within 250 feet of each other.
