The U.S. General Services Administration signed a 20-year lease with Panattoni Development for space at Des Moines Creek Business Park to house the regional office of the Federal Aviation Administration.
The contract award is about $200 million, according to FedBizOpps.
Panattoni, which is based in Newport Beach, California, is building the 300,000-square-foot office at the corner of South 216th Street and 24th Avenue South in the 87-acre park. CollinsWoerman is the architect, and Abbott Construction is the general contractor.
Occupancy is set for the summer of 2017.

The FAA is consolidating its operations, part of a federal government effort to reduce real estate costs.
