Weinstein A+U will present its latest designs for a proposed seven-story, 201-unit apartment building at 6512 12th Ave. N.E. in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood.

A city design review board will hold a recommendation meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at the Good Shepherd Center, at 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N.

The apartments are one of a number of Roosevelt projects in the pipeline by the developer, HB Management.

A related entity, Roosevelt Development Group, is listed as the owner.

RDG has development rights to 51 properties in the neighborhood, totaling 4.9 acres. The company, led by Jon Breiner and Ed Hewson, wants to build transit-oriented projects in anticipation of the new Roosevelt light rail station, slated to open in 2021.

The proposal includes a roof deck, 2,000 square feet of commercial space and 150 parking spaces on two underground levels.

Commercial spaces would be on 12th Avenue Northeast, and the residential lobby would be on Northeast 66th Street. Parking access would be on Brooklyn Avenue Northeast.

Apartments would range from 410-square-foot studio units to 915-square-foot two-bedroom units.

A corner pedestrian plaza is planned for 12th Avenue and 66th Street.

The site is across the street from the light rail station, which will be built on the west side of 12th Avenue between 65th and 67th streets.

Weinstein is also designing a 41-unit mixed-use project nearby for Roosevelt Development Group at 1319 N.E. 65th St.
