New Hyatt Regency opens in June

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is in Renton.

A soft opening is set for June for the 12-story Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Southport in Renton, with 347 rooms and 60,000 square feet of meeting space. It was designed by MG2 and built by Sellen. Seco Development is building Southport on the Renton waterfront. It already includes Bristol Residences, with 383 units. Three nine-story office towers with 730,000 square feet are planned in later phases. Hyatt, Seco and the city of Renton estimate that Renton currently has $500 million of construction investment in hospitality, health and retail.
