Unions partner to build tiny houses

TUKWILA — Several union groups said they have formed a partnership with the Low Income Housing Institute and will work together to build two tiny houses every month, providing transitional housing for homeless people in this area.

The groups include the Martin Luther King County Labor Council; Teamsters (Joint Council, Locals 117, 174, 763); Laborers Local 242; King County Building and Construction Trades Council; Machinist 751 and others.
