Caruccio's Culinary Event Center on Mercer Island will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. today, at 2441 76th Ave. S.E.
Owner Lisa Caruccio says the center can be used for wine and film events, televised cooking classes, live food blogging, food photography, product launches and private events.
The two-level, 1,800-square-foot space was designed by architect Suzanne Zahr and built by her SZ Build. It can accommodate up to 40 seated diners, and more for parties and events.
