State Farm leaving Tacoma

State Farm announced yesterday that it is moving out of Tacoma at the end of the year.

The insurance giant occupies nearly all of the former Russell Investments headquarters at 909 A St. and several floors of the Columbia Bank Center at 1301 A St. About 1,400 employees are in the two operations centers.
