Bellwether pays $2M for Greenwood site

SEATTLE — As it previously announced, Bellwether Housing has bought a Greenwood property at 625 N. 87th St. from Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. The county recorded the $2.4 million sale on Monday. The seller had owned the property for decades.

Bellwether plans to eventually redevelop the 1.2-acre property, which now has a sports field, playground and two buildings that were erected in 1947. The property is immediately south of Greenwood Park.
