Mack gets MUP for 43-story apartment tower in SLU

Looking southeast, 1001 John is here depicted without the rival 124 Boren tower that could rise on its east side.

Eight years after acquiring the South Lake Union site at 1001 John St., Mack Real Estate Development has its master use permit for a planned 43-story apartment tower. CollinsWoerman took the plan into design review in 2015; the city finally approved it in January. The MUP came in March.
