Real Estate Buzz: Touchstone drops Bellevue superblock plan

Touchstone Corp. won't develop part of a superblock in downtown Bellevue after all.
Touchstone's VP of Development A-P Hurd said this week her company is “out of contract” on the southern part of the block bounded by Northeast Eighth and 10th streets and 106th and 108th avenues northeast. The first phase would have been a 15-story complex with 250 hotel rooms and 320,000 square feet of office and retail.
