Seattle Architecture Foundation will celebrate its 19th annual exhibit of architectural models with a party at 6 p.m. Aug. 31 at 1010 Western Ave.
The exhibit will be free and the theme is [un]Restricted. There will be 30 architectural models, renderings, animations and installations that show how local designers navigate challenges with creativity.
Wyn Bielaska of Chihuly Studio in Seattle will speak at the party. He is helping to design a glass pavilion called Chihuly Sanctuary that will house the glass artist's work in a garden at the Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha.
The model exhibit runs Sept. 1 through Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
