Harborview Research and Training Facility
Rendering of Harborview Research and Training Facility.
Project description: New seven-story, double-basement building with five research laboratory floors, training floor, imaging center, vivarium floor and loading dock with central support facilities. Other amenities include a 150-seat sloped floor auditorium, and state-of-the-art AV systems. The facility will house a number of flexible lab modules to support intensive research programs at Harborview Medical Center which can be reconfigured as needed to meet ever-changing needs.

Address: 976 Alder St., Seattle.
Original contract amount: $50 million.
Start of construction: November 1996.
Expected completion date: April 1999.
