Trevor Noah at The Paramount

Trevor Noah replaced Jon Stewart as the host of “The Daily Show.”

SEATTLE — Trevor Noah, the most successful comedian in Africa and host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, is coming to the Paramount Feb. 18.

Noah was born in South Africa to a black South African mother and a white European father, and made his U.S. television debut in 2012. He appeared in a one-hour stand-up special, “Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation,” that Seattle Theater Group says offers his “unique world-view and global analysis of American culture.” He is also the subject of an award-winning documentary “You Laugh But It's True” that tells the story of his remarkable career in post-apartheid South Africa.

Tickets are $32-$42 and are available at Tickets.com, 24-hour ticket kiosks outside the Paramount, Moore and Neptune theaters, at The Paramount box office or by phone at 1-877-STG-4TIX. More information is at STGPresents.org.
