Praegitzer Industries, Inc. a printed circuit board design and fabrication service provider, announced its direct sales force has nearly doubled in the past six months due to recent growth. The company also announced two executive appointments: Robert Van Heyningen to the post of corporate vice president of international business development, and Francis Ip as director of sales, Asian operations. Locally, Praegitzer added Rob Newton as a Northwest regional account manager who is responsible for sales in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Newton is based out of Beaverton, Ore. Dave Nicholson is a Northwest regional account manager, responsible for sales in Washington and Western Canada. Nicholson is based out of Redmond.

Xerox of the Pacific Northwest has named Frank Walton manager of information systems and financial consultant. Walton will oversee market share and financial results for the company's authorized sales agent program. Stacey Powell has been named field manager of customer service, managing a staff of 32 field service engineers based throughout the Puget Sound region.
Graphic Associates, an Eastside graphic design firm, has added Ross West to its team of designers. His work has appeared in "Print" magazine and Computer Graphics 3.

Dan Sturtz has joined Ayers Professional Group Inc. in Bellingham as manager of the survey department. He was formerly with Larry Steel & Associates. Steven L. Hood has joined the firm as a civil and forest engineer. He most recently worked for Crown Pacific as a forest engineer. His new responsibilities will include civil design and project management. Ayers is a civil engineering and land surveying firm with 16 employees and an associate office in Twisp.
Gregory Supinski has been promoted to vice president of engineering for Metawave Communications Corp., a Redmond-based company which manufactures and markets multibeam antenna systems and engineering services for wireless communications companies. Its products are enhancements which allow providers to avoid the cost of building new sites. Supinski was senior manager for system architecture and an associate chief of the senior technology staff for Advanced Technical Laboratories.
Bill Lawrence has joined Otak as a survey project engineer. He has 18 years of experience in surveying and mapping projects for public and private clients. He is currently working on survey and mapping for Grand Ridge and Blakely Ridge Urban Planned Developments and the Stanwood Park-and-Ride. Lawrence was previously with ST Engineering.
Joan Williamson has been promoted to director of corporate operations at Jones & Stokes Associates, an environmental consulting firm. She is responsible for all corporate-level support functions, combining the responsibilities formerly held by the director of administrative services and the director of finance. She joined the firm in 1993 as director of finance. The firm has offices in Bellevue, Phoenix and Sacramento and Irvine, Calif.
J. Scott Haas was recently promoted to senior project architect at Ruhl-Parr & Associates. He joined the firm 10 years ago and has been project architect on several major projects for the firm including a Gai's Bakery plant, corporate headquarters for Peterbilt, self-storage facilities for Shurgard Storage and fast food restaurants for McDonald's.
