Absolute Business Services has announced the creation of a new intranet division, Telework Technologies Inc. (TTI). The new division will focus on the design, implementation and support of corporate intranets for field and service personnel. TTI's unique approach is that it will offer tailored solutions to the needs of field sales and service personnel in small and medium sized companies. TTI's solution combines the company's experience in service management and sales force automation with Internet and database technologies.
MetaInfo, Inc., a Seattle-based supplier of IP Management, Internet messaging and information management software for the Windows NT platform, has launched and aggressive sales and strategic business development program specifically targeting Fortune 500 companies migrating from UNIX to Microsoft Windows NT. Carolyn Brady has joined MetaInfo as sales executive and strategic business development. She will launch several programs designed to simplify the high-volume purchase of its products. Kay Ashton has joined the company as marketing communications manager. Her responsibilities will include developing, implementing and managing a worldwide product marketing program for MetaInfo through trade shows, advertising, direct marketing and public relations.
IMCO General Construction Inc. of Bellingham recently promoted Anne Bartlett to project manager of the ongoing $4.9 million expansion of Ferndale's wastewater facility. She will be responsible for budgeting, contract planning, subcontractor negotiations, purchasing and estimating. Bartlett holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Washington.
The Puget Sound Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute recently awarded scholarships to Trish Werner of Shoreline and Mary Madole Otness of Duvall. Both are architectural engineering graphics students at Lake Washington Technical College. The scholarships provide a year's membership to CSI, waive tuition for courses offered by the chapter and match students with a mentor from the industry.

Seattle-based Merwin Productions has changed its name to Merwin Creative. The company produces corporate and public policy multimedia throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe. Merwin Creative has recently added: Cora Edmonds and Juli Morser as executive producers; Jerry Brown and Darek Mazzone as directors, and Andrew Baker as a digital designer.

Forty-three Coldwell Banker Bain agents earned awards for placing in the top four percent in the nationwide 1996 rankings by Coldwell Banker. Thirteen have earned International President's Elite designation, an honor given only to the top one percent of the more than 55,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates throughout North America.
