Fenpro

George Kawamoto has joined Seattle-based Fenpro Inc. as its engineering manager. Kawamoto has 20 years of design and engineering experience in the commercial window and curtain wall industries. Fenpro is a leading maker of curtain wall products.

Highway bridge design

Merritt + Pardini

Robert Berman has joined Merritt + Pardini as project manager for urban design and planning. He has nine years of experience in master planning and transportation planning. He recently completed a land use strategy plan for property surrounding Sea-Tac International Airport for the Port of Seattle.

Entranco

Kevin Kim has been named structures segment manager for Entranco's transportation group. He has been with the firm for eight years. Kim has been responsible for five structures that are part of an interchange project in Spokane, and also recently managed the design of five bridge projects.

Otak

Jeff Wolfe, David Clinkston, and Peter Watson have joined Otak as architectural project managers, and all three are currently at work on the King Street Station redevelopment project. Wolfe specializes in project coordination, scheduling and budgeting and Clinkston in design and construction administration. Watson has 20 years of experience in design and project manager and his recent projects include Nordstrom's renovation of the Frederick & Nelson Building. Julie Blakeslee and Julie Shaw have joined Otak's Seattle office in the planning department as project managers. Blakeslee's experience includes station area planning, pedestrian circulation and access and multimodal access issues. Shaw has experience in environmental analysis, master planning, site planning and landscape design. Tom Drugan has joined the firm as an urban designer and planner with a background in architecture and landscape architecture. Rick Maxon, also new to the firm, has over 18 years of experience as an architect. Bea Kumasaka has joined Otak as administrative officer for the Seattle office. She was most recently with the Seattle office of Brown & Caldwell.

Lochner

Tim Nordin has joined the Bellevue office of H.W. Lochner, Inc. as project manager for transportation, hydraulics and general site civil engineering projects.

Casne

Casne Engineering has added three new members to the professional staff of the Bellevue office. Steve Cavit has joined the firm as a senior electrical engineer serving industrial clients. Kevin Jablonski, also new to the industrial department, will be involved in process control and instrumentation projects. He comes to the firm from Longview Fibre Company. Paul Crivell has joined the municipal department of Casne, where he will be devoted to water and wastewater projects.

W&H Pacific

Kelly M. Klungness was recently promoted to survey party chief at the Bellevue office of W&H Pacific. Her new responsibilities include directing and managing a survey crew. Biao Huang recently joined the firm as development services manager. His responsibilities include site grading, utility layout, storm water storage and water quality facility design. Amy King, a recent public relations graduate of Western Washington University, has joined the Bellevue office of W&H Pacific as marketing assistant. Carolynn R. Pefley has joined the firm as receptionist. She was recently a customer service representative for an insurance company.
