White Shield

Kerrel D. Bell has been promoted to manager of White Shield's Surveying Division. Bell also manages White Shield's Bellevue office. For the past three years, Bell managed the firm's surveying operations in Eastern Washington. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in Washington, Idaho, Colorado and Montana with over 21 years of experience. He is currently managing survey projects and contracts for King County, the city of Seattle, Sound Transit, HNTB, Carter-Burgess, KPFF Engineering and several other clients in the Puget Sound area, Eastern Washington and Oregon.

Ellis Paguirigan Designs

Dana Pethia was hired by Olympia-based design firm Ellis Paguirigan to head the firm's account servicing department. Pethia brings five years of account management experience to the firm, having most recently worked as an account executive for Chandler & Brooks.

GeoEngineers

Rob Lindsay, an environmental scientist, has joined the Spokane office of GeoEngineers. Previously, Lindsay was with IT/Emcon. GeoEngineers' Spokane staff currently numbers 19, including five engineers and three geologists. Dan Campbell was hired as an associate in the firm's Redmond office. Campbell has been a consulting geotechnical engineer in the Pacific Northwest for the past 10 years. His professional experience includes earthquake engineering, involving liquefaction analyses, retrofitting and mitigation for Port of Seattle facilities and the Port of Portland Airport terminal expansion. Based in Redmond, GeoEngineers is a 180-person firm offering geotechnical, environmental, geologic, ground water, GIS and Endangered Species Act consulting services. Its other office locations include Anchorage, Bellingham, Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma and Portland.

Otak

Ron Kampe has joined Otak's Lake Oswego engineering team as a senior manager. He was the founder and president of Kampe Associates, a civil engineering firm in Portland. Kampe will continue to serve his previous and new clients through Otak. Earlier this year, Dan Dawson was named as a principal of the firm. Dawson is a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience in site development, transportation planning and design and utilities development. His current projects include the University of Washington-Bothell/Cascadia Community College campus, on-call engineering for the city of Shoreline and roadway projects for the city of Bellevue. Dawson has been with the firm since 1993 and manages the operation of Otak's Kirkland office. Based in Lake Oswego, Ore., Otak is an architecture and engineering firm with local offices in Seattle and Kirkland. Otak offers services in transportation and growth management, urban and community design and natural resource management.

Waterleaf

Jon Styner has joined WaterLeaf Architecture & Interiors as a project manager. Styner is managing several transit facility projects, including Pierce County Transit's bus operations and projects for Sound Transit's light rail operations and maintenance facilities in Tacoma and Seattle. Styner has 21 years of experience leading a variety of project types, including manufacturing facilities, transportation and vehicle maintenance facilities and laboratory research facilities. Leslie Rosenberg, an architect and interior designer, has also joined the firm. Rosenberg is providing space planning and interior design of the corporate headquarters for Paccess, the Heald College expansion and the Lake Oswego Country Club addition. Previously, she worked in Georgia and Oregon. She has experience in preservation and renovation work and in 1996 won an International Interior Design Association award. With offices in Portland and Seattle, WaterLeaf Architecture & Interiors provides planning, architectural and interior design and construction administration services.

Roth Hill Engineering Partners

Kim Sklaroff has joined Roth Hill Engineering Partners as the office and human resources administrator. Before joining the firm, Sklaroff was an owner of a human resources consulting business. Based in Bellevue, Roth Hill Engineering provides water, sewer and other municipal engineering services.

Bassetti Architects

Mark Peterson joins Bassetti Architects as a senior architect. Peterson's designs have received several regional and national awards, including the Masonry Institute of Washington's Merit Award for the University of Washington Meany Hall for the Performing Arts. Christina Pizana joins the firm as an intern. A graduate from California Polytechnic State University, Pizana is working on the Maplewood K-8 Middle School for the Edmonds School District and the West Seattle High School. Bassetti Architects was established in Seattle in 1947.

Path Engineers

Robert Glunt has been hired as director of the newly developed computer network consulting division of Path Engineers. The firm has added this new division to keep up with the growing demand for certified networking professionals. Located in Bothell, Path Engineers is a mechanical and electrical engineering consulting firm. The firm also offers construction cost estimating, due diligence reports and code analyses.

Entranco

Dan Becker has joined Entranco to provide facilities construction management services. Becker's project experience includes the development and implementation of capital improvement projects, including the addition of the third runway at Seattle Tacoma International Airport. He also provided construction expertise for design/build projects for water and wastewater facilities throughout the western United States, and for facilities for the U.S. Postal Service and Boeing. In addition, he has taught project management classes at the University of Washington and Edmonds Community College. Entranco is a Bellevue-based engineering firm with offices in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Utah.
