BCRA Tsang

Mike Eisenbacher and Hank Chen have recently joined Architects BCRA Tsang.

Eisenbacher has over 22 years of architectural experience with a particular emphasis in design-build projects, pre-engineered steel buildings, and a wide range of commercial, educational, and industrial facilities. He is a certified commercial energy plans examiner and served as a commissioner on the Pierce County Landmarks Commission.

Chen has emphasized conceptual design, production drawings and presentation renderings.

CTS Engineers

Hans van der Meer has joined CTS Engineers as vice president for marketing and business development. Van der Meer comes to CTS from Hillsboro, Ore., where he managed several engineering and development projects with LDC Design Group. He brings to CTS 25 years of project management and development experience. He will oversee marketing and business activities for CTS in the Pacific Northwest region including Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Jilma Jimenez has recently joined CTS as transportation department manager. Jimenez joined CTS after 10 years with King County where she served as project manager for several capital improvement projects. Jimenez is currently managing transportation projects for King County Metro in North Bend and at the Atlantic Base in Seattle.

Jeff Brown has joined the Bellevue office of CTS as a senior civil engineer. Previously, Brown was with the Port of Seattle for 17 years, where he managed the waterfront civil engineering design group. At CTS, he is in charge of design and construction administration of transportation and site development projects for both public and private clients.

CTS Engineers is a Bellevue-based civil, transportation and structural design firm.

Mulvanny G2

Melanie Corey-Ferrini was recently hired as a senior designer at Mulvanny G2, a division of Mulvanny Architects. Corey-Ferrini is currently marketing and managing the launch of a new interior architecture department.

Her current projects are the design for Factoria Mall's new European interior and the interior design, programming and planning for Mulvanny Architects' 85,000-square-foot headquarters.

Mulvanny Architects is based in Bellevue, with offices in Seattle, Portland, Boston and Sterling, Va.

Otak

Chad Weiser and Mike Riewer have joined Otak's landscape architecture and planning department in Seattle. Weiser is working on the McGarvey Park planned development near Renton and station design for Sound Transit's Central Link light rail line.

Ren Coffee has joined Otak's Seattle office as receptionist.

Ann Turner and Karin Magnelli have transferred to Otak's Seattle office from Kirkland. Turner is the project support manager and is currently working on the Tacoma Light Rail final design and Central Link Light Rail Stations for Sound Transit. Magnelli is a project assistant, supporting engineering, landscape architecture and planning services.

HDR Engineering

Matthew Gray has joined HDR Engineering as a water resource engineer and Louis C.L. Lau has joined the company as a civil engineer in the railroad division. Both will work in the company's Bellevue office.

Gray is currently working on the Green-Duwamish Ecosystem Restoration General Investigation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Lau, a recent graduate of Seattle University, is working on the Amtrak Los Angeles-to-Las Vegas project as well as projects for Union Pacific Railroad and the city of Everett.

HDR is an employee-owned firm providing engineering, architecture, and project development services for transportation, water, environmental management, health care, justice and science technology clients.

W&H Pacific

John M. Evans has joined W&H Pacific as its chief financial officer.

Prior to coming to W&H Pacific, Evans was the director of finance and business management for R.W. Beck, an international engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Seattle.

W&H Pacific is a planning, engineering and surveying firm based in Bothell, with offices in Portland, Bend, and Klamath Falls, Ore., and Boise.

JPC Architects

New hires at JPC Architects are project manager Frank Fischer; job captains Mike Freidman, David Lee and Andre Montalvan; intern architects Michal Peter Anderson, Howard Lui, Jamey Barlet, Rachel Altschuler and Eshean Butler; interior designers Jennifer Dowrey, Christine Sabari and Lynne Dillon; computer systems administrator John Vellek and support staff Christy Huang, accounting, and Jennifer Churchill, administrative in Seattle.

GeoEngineers

Karen Mercier has been promoted to principal and chief financial officer at GeoEngineers.

Based in Redmond, GeoEngineers offers geotechnical, environmental, geologic, ground water, GIS and Endangered Species Act consulting services.
