Northwest Architectural Company

Spokane-based Northwest Architectural Company has named four key architects as associate principals. They include: Tom Golden, a 1987 University of Idaho graduate who joined the firm in 1990; Dana Harbaugh, a 1989 Montana State University graduate who joined the firm in 1994; and Michael O'Malley, a 1980 Phoenix Institute of Technology graduate who joined the firm in 1983.

Entranco

Scott M. Hyde has joined Entranco as Business Operations Manager. A certified public accountant, he has 18 years of experience in finance and administration. He has held positions at the Lucks Company and Datacom Technologies, where he was responsible for strategic planning and implementation.

Entranco's board of directors has approved nine staff members for ownership positions in the Bellevue-based firm. They include: Joan Duffy, Tucson; Jeff Faunce, Bellevue; Bruce Jensen, Bellevue; Tony Leonard, Salt Lake City; Torsten Lienau, Bellevue; Todd Ligon, Phoenix; Neil Richards, Pheonix; Mike Terrell, Bellevue; and Keith Walzak, Tucson.

HDR

HDR Engineering has named Ross A. Fenton a senior professional associate and Robert W. Bower, Jr., Brad J. Einfeld, Michael J. Haynes and Dale T. Muellerleile as professional associates. Fenton has served as project manager and project engineer for urban and interstate highways, city arterials, transit projects and port facilities. Bower and Einfeld specialize in municipal water and wastewater systems. Haynes is the hydropower program manager for HDR's Bellevue office. Muellerleile specializes in the design of transportation facilities for commuter railroads, light rail systems, high-speed rail and freight lines.

DEA

Erik J. Sweet has joined DEA's Tacoma office as landscape designer. He has eight years of experience in landscape architecture and will be responsible for managing landscape design projects for schools, athletic fields, municipalities, commercial projects and private residences.

Kennedy/Jenks

T. Anthony Harding has joined the Federal Way office of Kennedy/Jenks as project geologist. A registered geologist in Oregon, he has extensive project experience in environmental, hazardous waste and geotechnical investigations throughout the western U.S. He serves on the Clover Park Technical College advisory board.

Walker & Associates

Scott Hayes, photogrammetrist, has joined Walker & Associates. He has twelve years of experience in the field, including GIS base mapping, large-scale corridor mapping and developing specifications for orthophoto projects. He was most recently with Nies Mapping Group.

HWA Geosciences

Erik Anderson, project engineer in HWA's geotechnical services group, received his professional engineering license from the State of Washington. After completing a master's degree in civil engineering at the University of Washington, he joined the firm in 1997. Recent projects include King County's Regional Communications and Emergency Coordination Center in Renton and he is currently working on the geotechnical data report for King County's Swamp Creek Trunk Sewer Extension project in Kenmore.

Meier Enterprises

Meier Enterprises has hired five new members of the company's design group. They are Gale Culbertson, Raphael Torres, Brian Keever, Dustin Crockett and David Field. In addition, John Burris has joined the information technology group and David Bleazard has joined the firm as a summer intern.
