Weber + Thompson has hired interior designer
Laura Greenamyer.
During seven years in interior design, Greenamyer has worked with clients such as Microsoft, University of Puget Sound and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She will focus on commercial and residential interior design. Her current projects include the Bellevue showroom for Masin's Furniture and the 2200 Westlake condominiums. Greenamyer is a graduate of Arizona State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design.

Associated Earth Sciences announced that geotechnical engineer
Kurt Merriman has been promoted to principal. Merriman’s experience covers public and private sector projects, including education, municipal, commercial, health care and housing developments. Merriman’s educational project experience includes 150 new and modernization school projects for 35 school districts in King, Snohomish, Pierce, and Thurston counties. He will also be responsible for oversight of strategic planning at AESI.
AESI has 55 employees and provides consulting services in the earth sciences featuring departments in geology, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, biology and environmental sciences.
