The environmental planning, design and construction management firm Brown and Caldwell hired new staff in its Seattle office.
Emil Voges is a senior engineer with a background in civil, environmental, nuclear and process engineering. Kevin Stively is a process controls supervising engineer with experience in pulp and paper, and chemical and metal processing. Todd Keithahn is a principal engineer with civil engineering and construction management expertise. Moe Leavitt is a civil engineer.
In the company's CAD department, Kevin Smith is a senior civil designer, Damion Deaterla is a senior drafter, Seth Franklin is a senior mechanical designer and Jeremy Miller is a CAD drafter.
Christina McGuire is area business operations manager and Mary Lou McDonald is a senior project coordinator. Steve Anest is a desktop technician and Kristin Quick is a marketing coordinator.
Bayview Surveying in Burlington hired engineer Allen Danskine. Danskine has been an engineer for 15 years and is licensed in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
Marv Fucal recently joined Johnson Braund Design Group's Seattle-based architecture studio as an intern architect. Fucal has three years' design experience on education and office buildings. He is working on a Springhill Suites hotel in Boise. Johnson Braund provides architectural and landscape design services for housing, hospitality and commercial projects.

Moorleghen has 23 years' experience and manages Seattle projects such as the Northwest Hospital medical office building and remodel of the Hearthstone Retirement Center. Crowley worked on the Kennewick Convention Center and Spokane Readiness Center. DCI has offices in Bellevue, Spokane, Everett, Portland and San Diego.
Bellevue-based Baylis Architects announced Christine R. Hatcher has advanced to project manager. Hatcher works on commercial office and retail projects. After finishing a private academy and church in Kirkland, she is now working on a bank in downtown Renton. Hatcher graduated from Texas A&M University and worked in Dallas.
Seattle-based lighting design firm Studio Lux added designers Gwen Williams and Carlos Inclán to its staff. As associate designer, Williams brings CADD, interior design and design administration expertise. Inclán, a lighting designer and project manager, has international projects in his portfolio such as hotels, libraries, retail and residences.

Cary Kopczynski & Co., a Bellevue-based structural engineering firm, added Jeffrey Brink to its staff as design engineer. Brink has four years of structural engineering experience with Thornton-Tomasetti in Chicago, where he worked on design of the 30-story ABN Amro Bank Building. He is now working on Hayden Ferry Lakeside, a 14-story multifamily project in Tempe, Ariz. Cary Kopczynski & Co. provides structural engineering services for buildings and parking structures around the country.
