Water resources engineer Gabriella Neske joined KPFF Consulting Engineers. Neske has expertise in low-impact development, green building design, drainage detention and erosion control. Neske's current projects include expansion at Northgate Mall and Sound Transit Regional Express Issaquah Transit Center. KPFF has 600 employees in 12 offices around the country.

Hennebery Eddy Architects of Portland named Alan Osborne principal and promoted John Sargent to senior associate and Michelle Fickeisen to associate. Osborne has 20 years of experience in project design and management, and leads renovation of a labor and industries building for the state of Oregon in Salem, and design of a four-story office building in southeast Portland. Sargent will work on staffing, scheduling and quality control. He recently completed a ballistics testing facility at the Oregon State Police Crime Lab and new offices for Multnomah County. Fickeisen is project architect for The International School in Portland. Hennebery Eddy Architects is an architectural, interior design and planning firm.

Vancouver-headquartered HDJ appointed Rebecca L. Quas to its site development section. William P. Fredrick, Terry A. Osterberg and Yvonne E. Smith are in construction services and will inspect projects in western Washington. Clint D. Stanton does CAD drafting. James D. Anderson is computer systems administrator for headquarters and offices in Pasco and Tigard, Ore.

Parametrix

Transportation planner David Williams and Stephen Maltby, a senior bridge and highway engineer, have joined the Portland office of Parametrix. Maltby managed the transportation capital improvement program for Clackamas County, Ore. Williams has 30 years of experience on transportation projects and regional planning. Doug Berschauer became a director to delegates who represent the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association. Berschauer has 20 years of experience managing public works projects, including the Tulalip Membrane Treatment Plant and wastewater projects for the cities of Orting, Sumner, Tacoma, Pacific and Edgewood.

Interior Architects

Interior Architects promoted David Kutsunai to associate in its Seattle office. Kutsunai directs design. Tracy Wendt is a marketing coordinator and has worked for interior design and commercial real estate firms in Seattle and Colorado. Interior Architects has offices around the country and in London and Shanghai.

Bellevue's INCA Engineers promoted Dan Russell to director of project management. Russell has 29 years of professional experience in the A/E industry. Dale Miller was promoted to structural department manager. Wayne Wentz joined as senior project manager and will work on transportation engineering and business development.

Biel

Jessica Biel returned to Walker and Associates as administrative assistant. Biel will work on accounting , contracting, marketing and office administration support. Seattle-based Walker and Associates is an aerial mapping firm that provides orthophotography and sells aerial imagery to clients in the Northwest.

David Evans and Associates

Chung

Bellevue's David Evans and Associates recently hired Angela Chung as Puget Sound region project manager. Chung has eight years of civil engineering experience and has worked on permitting and site development. She did site development for the Lincoln Square project in Bellevue and the KOMO Block/Fisher Broadcasting building in Seattle. Other projects are street improvements, medical buildings, waterfront and retail facilities.

Abacus Engineered Systems

Abacus Engineered Systems added building energy expert Pawan Kumar as a senior development engineer. Jim Low is a senior communications designer. Cori McLeod is office coordinator and Carol McLaughlin is a CAD technician. They will be based in the company's Seattle headquarters.

Char Kaufer was promoted to vice president of human resources, Bruce Poulin to senior project manager and Peter Eberle to mechanical designer.

Gary Heikkinen is a project executive in Portland. Barry Wilhelm is an account executive in the company's Richmond, Va. office. In Harrisburg, Pa., Larry Myers is an account executive and systems technicians are Drew Kohler, Steve Mango and Brad Zeamer. Abacus Engineered Systems provides building performance services and is headquartered in Seattle.

Quantum Consulting Engineers

Seattle's Quantum Consulting Engineers added Andy Chan as a project engineer. He has seven years of experience in structural design and is working on a performance hall for Seattle University. Chan graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Canada.

Sandy Grimm joined Hammond Collier Wade Livingstone as an administrative assistant for its Seattle Office. She will work on administrative support and customer service.

Callison Architecture

Seattle-based Callison Architecture promoted 13 to associate principals: Brad Barnett, Martha Boes, Peter Damento, Esmeraldo Formantes, Peter Krech, Jacob Mans, Joseph Marek, Brian Moe, Michael O'Hara, Karen Oshiro, Xiaolei Ouyang, Jim Phillips and Alex Shapleigh. Callison provides planning and design services to international clients.

Integrus Architecture

Integrus Architecture added two to its Spokane office. Forrest Shannon is a project architect and will work on design for the $45 million Hanford High School in Richland.

Structural engineer Robert W. Graper will design and prepare contract documents. Integrus has offices in Spokane and Seattle and employs architects, planners and designers.
