Transportation planner David Williams and Stephen Maltby, a senior bridge and highway engineer, have joined the Portland office of Parametrix. Maltby managed the transportation capital improvement program for Clackamas County, Ore. Williams has 30 years of experience on transportation projects and regional planning. Doug Berschauer became a director to delegates who represent the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association. Berschauer has 20 years of experience managing public works projects, including the Tulalip Membrane Treatment Plant and wastewater projects for the cities of Orting, Sumner, Tacoma, Pacific and Edgewood.
Interior Architects promoted David Kutsunai to associate in its Seattle office. Kutsunai directs design. Tracy Wendt is a marketing coordinator and has worked for interior design and commercial real estate firms in Seattle and Colorado. Interior Architects has offices around the country and in London and Shanghai.

Abacus Engineered Systems added building energy expert Pawan Kumar as a senior development engineer. Jim Low is a senior communications designer. Cori McLeod is office coordinator and Carol McLaughlin is a CAD technician. They will be based in the company's Seattle headquarters.
Char Kaufer was promoted to vice president of human resources, Bruce Poulin to senior project manager and Peter Eberle to mechanical designer.
Gary Heikkinen is a project executive in Portland. Barry Wilhelm is an account executive in the company's Richmond, Va. office. In Harrisburg, Pa., Larry Myers is an account executive and systems technicians are Drew Kohler, Steve Mango and Brad Zeamer. Abacus Engineered Systems provides building performance services and is headquartered in Seattle.
Seattle's Quantum Consulting Engineers added Andy Chan as a project engineer. He has seven years of experience in structural design and is working on a performance hall for Seattle University. Chan graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Canada.
Sandy Grimm joined Hammond Collier Wade Livingstone as an administrative assistant for its Seattle Office. She will work on administrative support and customer service.
Seattle-based Callison Architecture promoted 13 to associate principals: Brad Barnett, Martha Boes, Peter Damento, Esmeraldo Formantes, Peter Krech, Jacob Mans, Joseph Marek, Brian Moe, Michael O'Hara, Karen Oshiro, Xiaolei Ouyang, Jim Phillips and Alex Shapleigh. Callison provides planning and design services to international clients.
Integrus Architecture added two to its Spokane office. Forrest Shannon is a project architect and will work on design for the $45 million Hanford High School in Richland.
Structural engineer Robert W. Graper will design and prepare contract documents. Integrus has offices in Spokane and Seattle and employs architects, planners and designers.
