Overdorf

Seattle's Jones & Jones Architects and Landscape Architects promoted Chris Overdorf to senior associate. Overdorf is working on projects for the San Antonio Zoo and the Trust for Public Land. Ints Luters and Keith Bates were made associates. Luters does natural resource conservation plans and is working on a project along the Columbia River. Bates is working on the Hanford Reach National Monument Heritage and Visitor Center. Associate Stephanie Ingram does drafting, graphics and model building.

Environmental planning group CH2M Hill has added seven people.

Marj Press is a senior project manager for planning projects. Jodi Ketelsen has transferred from CH2M HILL's Sacramento office to work on an Interstate 90 project. Kirsten Pennington was the city of Burien's transportation planner and will focus on transportation planning and policy.

Ray Moreno joins as a transportation project manager to design highways, and leads civil design for an Interstate 5 project in Chehalis. Senior management consultant Stephanie MacLachlan focuses on policy and project management for infrastructure owners and operators. She is consulting with state and local transportation agencies including WSDOT and Seattle Department of Transportation. Jerry Reed and Peter Ojala have joined the land survey division. Reed has 29 years of surveying experience including ferry terminal improvements at Port Townsend. Ojala is doing surveys for Sound Transit Light Rail projects. CH2M Hill has 700 employees in the Northwest and 12,500 employees around the country.

MacLeod

Candela Architectural Lighting Consultants promoted Lauren MacLeod to associate. Seattle-based Candela offers architectural lighting services.

MacLeod has 17 years of experience as a lighting consultant and designer including work in Guam, India and Malaysia. She is doing projects for Coldwater Creek, McCormick and Schmick's Restaurants and at Lincoln Square in Bellevue.

FSi

Krause

FSi consulting engineers announced mechanical engineer Carrie Krause is registered as a licensed fire protection engineer in the state of Washington. There are only 150 active FPEs in the state, according to FSi. Krause was project manager and lead engineer on an HVAC upgrade for King County Transit and is finishing design on a transfer station for a solid waste project in King County.

Architectural designer Lisa Downey is working on the Western & Clay multifamily project and University Village's expansion. Amy Hartwell is working on a mixed-use project in South Lake Union. She returns as an architectural designer, with a focus on residential design and historic preservation. Architectural designer Brian Kenny is working on mixed-use projects in Ballard and Green Lake. Interior design intern Jennifer Tower is working on renovation of a lodge in California. Architect Jerry Wang is project architect for a street development in Vallejo, Calif.

Seattle's Emick Howard & Seibert named Paul Biondolillo strategic retail designer, Clifford Hasert project architect and manager, and Claudia Lopez Ross retail designer. Biondolillo helped create retail environments for brands such as Bebe, Bostonian, Nike and Starbucks. Hasert has 24 years experience and joins as a project architect and manager. Lopez Ross did retail design for brands such as Crate & Barrel, Polo and Esprit. Emick Howard & Seibert provides retail planning, architecture and interior design services to financial and corporate clients around the country.

Leah Benson recently joined Sparling as a marketing communications specialist. Benson has worked in marketing for the A/E/C industry for four years. Seattle-based Sparling is an electrical engineering and technology consulting firm.

Dana Ing joined Portland's Thomas Hacker Architects as a project manager. Ing is working on an addition to the U.S. Port of Entry in Blaine, and has also worked at Heery International and Boora Architects. Juan Tomás Núñez is working on a renovation of University of Washington's Architecture Hall. His experience includes schools and houses, as well as doing renovations in Chile, his home country.

Magnusson Klemencic Associates has promoted five. Vice president Matt Corsi designed stand-alone parking facilities at the Muckleshoot Casino and Bellevue Community College parking garages. Senior associate Andy Fry manages California high-rise residential projects. Brad Cameron is also an associate and specializes in residential, hotel and mixed-use projects. Associate Scott Erickson is working on projects in Los Angeles. Engineer Dave E. Eckmann joined the company to manage projects and marketing in the Midwest. Eckmann will initially work from the Seattle office. Eckmann was in Chicago, where he directed structural engineering at the Chicago architectural engineering firm OWP/P. Magnusson Klemencic Associates is a structural and civil engineering firm headquartered in Seattle.
