He was associate principal at Callison Architecture in Seattle, and also a principal in NBBJ's San Francisco office. ZGF is an architecture, planning and interior design firm.

Seattle-based Mithun added architect Richard Robison as a principal. Robison specializes in planning, space programming and design of research and health care facilities. He was with CollinsWoerman, where he did projects in the science and technology market. He was also director of health care planning and design at Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum in Los Angeles.

ARC Architects added Jennifer Reese and BJ Montoya. Reese graduated from Penn State with a master's in architecture. Montoya has 4 years of experience, including a year with Habitat for Humanity. His background is in health care and community projects. He has a bachelor's in environmental design from Ball State University.

David Frum has been named as a firm principal in the Seattle office of Clark/Kjos Architects.Alex Hill and Connie Ables were recently named principals in the Portland office. The firm specializes in health care. Frum led projects for Children's Hospital & Regional MedicalCenter and Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Information technology manager Hill is working on projects for Silverton Hospital and Pacific Medical Buildings. Ables oversees administrative staff, human resources and financial accounting.

Integrus Architecture named Upendra N. Trivedi structural engineer. Trivedi has 32 years of project experience and his expertise is in structural design for educational facilities. He is working on high school projects located in Washington. Integrus provides architectural, planning, interior design and structural engineering services, with offices in Seattle and Spokane.
