James "Matt" Rabe is the new public affairs officer for the U.S. Army Corps Engineers in Portland. He has 14 years of federal service, 11 with the Corps. Diana Brimhall retired earlier this year after 36 years of federal service.

Seattle-based The Portico Group added landscape architect Maren Coleman as project manager for the city of Bremerton's Harborside Park and Memorial Plaza project. Designer James Pase is working on an exhibit at Utah's Hogle Zoo. Birgit Soderlund is a designer working on a park and zoo project in San Jose. Fred Redmon is an architect working on an arctic shores exhibit for the Calgary Zoo. Eric Blank is an architect and project manager working on a shark exhibit for New York Aquarium. Others on this project are exhibit designer Richard Larson and designer Michael Lombardi. Portico does architecture, landscape architecture and exhibit design.
Integrus Architecture hired Upendra N. Trivedi as structural engineer. Trivedi has 32 years of experience with a focus on structural design for educational facilities. He is working on two high school projects in Washington state. Tami S. Tedrow-Howard was named director of business development. Tedrow-Howard has 18 years of business development and marketing experience. Integrus does architecture, planning, interior design and structural engineering, and has offices in Seattle and Spokane.
Geoff A. Anderson has joined The ORB Organization as associate principal. Anderson has eight years of experience as a project architect, including work at University of Washington, public works and housing authorities, and Marriott Hotels. ORB is a commercial architectural and engineering firm that specializes in government/military projects, housing, and parks and recreation work.
