Seattle's Marion St. Design named Alan Jennings designer. Jennings had been freelancing at Gable Design Group, which later merged with Remer to form Marion St. Design. Jennings has also done work for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Ketcham Design Group.

Bellevue-based civil and structural consulting company DCI Engineers hired Craig Nishina, Steven Edmiston and Christopher White as structural project engineers. Nishina will work in the Everett office on a project for the Snohomish County PUD and a 100,000-square-foot mixed-use apartment complex in Bellingham. In Bellevue, Edmiston will work on a new church in the shoreline community. White is working on the final construction phase coordination for a mixed-use apartment project in Seattle's South Lake Union Neighborhood.

PAE Consulting Engineers, a mechanical, electrical and telecommunications engineering firm, added John Bravard. He has 10 years of experience in consulting engineering and public power utilities. He is working on projects for the University of Portland and Portland General Electric.

Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo added Sybrina Soga, Luis C. Sison, Bret Takahashi, Natalia Teo and Becky Ellis. Soga is a project designer with seven years of experience. Sison is an architect who worked on the Port of Seattle's master plan and Pullman Hospital. Takahashi has eight years of experience designing and managing health care, research and academic projects. Interior designer Teo worked on the McAdams Wright Ragen office in Seattle and the Davis Wright Tremaine office in Bellevue. Ellis was a land use planner with the city of Seattle. Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo has done work in 130 countries.

TVA Architects

TVA Architects added Tim Wybenga, an architect working on multiple high-rise towers in Los Angeles. It also named Elijah Elder a job captain for a mixed-use parking structure for the city of Bend, Ore. Laura Sinsel has eight years of architectural experience as a job captain and is working on an expansion for Social Security Teleservice in Auburn. The firm also hired intern Daniel Bradbury to work on cinemas, mixed-use and high-rise towers. TVA Architects is an architecture planning and interiors firm headquartered in Portland.

Bellevue-based Wattenbarger Architects has added five to its staff. Project manager James Knight is a design and master planning consultant from Minneapolis. Intern architects Travis Allen and Tinh Lam are recent graduates of the UW College of Architecture & Urban Planning. Jesus Lugo is a graduate of WSU's College of Engineering and Architecture. Keri Heinen was with Reid Middleton Engineering and will be director of marketing.

The Seattle architecture, interior design and planning firm Weber + Thompson has added Jay Pickering, Marilyn Bishop and Amy Green to its high-rise team. Kara Clark joined the company's master planned community team. Pickering is a senior project manager working on three residential high rises in downtown Seattle. Pickering was with Mithun.

Bishop was at Arai/Jackson Ellison Murakami Architects and Planners, and is now working on a hotel/condominium in downtown Seattle. Green joins the interior design team to work on condominium unit design. Clark has four years of planning and construction administration experience, and will work on a master planned community in Issaquah Highlands.

Sabrena Orr joined Hatton Godat Pantier as project coordinator. She will work with clients to develop their land more efficiently. Jeff Pantier was named a member of the Thurston County Cluster Development Task Force and will help evaluate newly revised county regulations for "cluster" developments outside designated urban boundaries. Pantier heads the surveying department for Hatton Godat Pantier. The Tumwater-based firm is an engineering, surveying and construction project management firm.
