PCS-Structural Solutions has promoted and added several staff members in the Seattle office.
Dan Dowden and
Steve Farvour have been promoted to project manager. Dowden is working on Island Hospital in Anacortes, and Farvour's projects include the University of Washington Tacoma Assembly Hall and Central Washington University Nicholson Pavilion.
Jason Collins is transferring from the Tacoma office to the Seattle office. Collins is involved with the Rainier Work Lofts and the Stadium High School Parking Garage.
Carl Kloos, Kelsey Minor, Dale Morford and
Shadow Woodfork have also joined as staff members, and
Jon Padvorak is a summer intern.
The Driftmier Architects of Redmond hired
Molly Foster and
Jamie Meersman as intern architects. Foster is working on BN West Credit Union of Tacoma and the Laura Victoria boutique in Redmond Town Center. Meersman's responsibilities include interior design, site market analysis and architectural support.
ALSC Architects promoted
Ken Murphy and
Steve Mallory to associate principal. Murphy has served as project designer and manager on projects for Spokane Public Schools, Central Valley School District, Newport School District and Eastern Washington University. Mallory is working on projects for clients including the city of Kennewick, Benton City, Bagley Dental and Washington State University.

Tibor Nagy and
Eric Anderson as senior associates. Nagy was with GGLO in Seattle, where he worked as a project manager on mid-rise and high-rise projects. He is responsible for project management of corporate, civic and mixed-use projects in the international Shanghai group, which focuses on Asia and the Middle East markets. Anderson joins from Mithun, where he co-founded and led its higher education group. He is a member of the corporate urban mixed-use team and project manager for a mixed-use project in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood.
Schacht Aslani Architects recently announced the return of architects Anjali Grant and Chris Taucher and the addition of architectural interns Krishna Bharathi, Arielle Crowder, Dylan Johnson, Johnny Kwong and marketing coordinator Jenn Erickson. Taucher is project manager of the Seattle Central Community College Visual Communication renovation. Grant is working on the Student Services Center for Tacoma Community College and the faculty/administration building for Peninsula College. Bharathi is working on an array of projects including the Business and Humanities Building pre-design for Peninsula College. Crowder is working on the Landscape Horticulture Education Building and the Automotive Technology projects at South Seattle Community College. Johnson is working on the Library Media Center for Peninsula College. Kwong is working on the Student Services Center at Tacoma Community College.
Cary Kopczynski & Co. hired Tanveer Sahoo as a senior engineer, Satish Jain as a senior design engineer, Andy Tu, Jae-Wook Park, Jason Thome, Matt Hopper as design engineers and Alan Tolmasoff as a CAD designer.

Jennifer Yoshimura as electrical designers. Wittmier has joined a Sparling electrical studio that specializes in health care, hospitality and retail projects. Current projects include the Skagit Valley Hospital Catheter Lab and the Portneuf Medical Center CV MOB. Prior to joining Sparling, Yoshimura did software acquisition and quality assurance as an intern with the Department of Defense. Her current projects are The Bush School, Lynnwood High School and Umatilla Public Safety Building.

Hewko, a structural project engineer, is working on a 244,000-square-foot multi-family project in Seattle. Ayling is working on a 560,000-square-foot multi-family project in Portland, as well as two mixed-use projects in Seattle and Pasadena. Sinchai is working on a mixed-use project in Hollywood, Calif., that includes a hotel, condos, apartments, retail and parking. Olsen's current projects include Washington Square Condominiums in Bellevue. Crusselle is working on a 560,000-square-foot multi-family project in Portland as well as a 300,000-square-foot mixed-use project in Seattle. Kroumova's projects include a 300,000-square-foot hotel, and an 18,000-square-foot mixed-use project.

Trindera Engineering, an electrical and control systems engineering and consulting firm in Coeur d'Alene, hired Steve Merrick as a senior project engineer. Merrick has 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, specializing in manufacturing, industrial and government projects.
