RoseWater Engineering hired four staff in its Seattle office. Menglou Wang, is a senior project engineer and will join the firm's Alaskan Way Viaduct water system design team. He has 21 years of experience in water/wastewater and reclaimed water facilities design, water system mapping and hydraulic modeling. Sheri Lott is a project engineer and will also work on the viaduct water system design team. Lott has six years of experience in civil and environmental engineering and construction management for public and private sector projects. Linda Jack was hired as the human resource manager. Her background is in human resources, management, training and development, and technical recruiting. Leslie Stark has been hired as marketing coordinator. She has nine years of experience in public relations and marketing.

The firm added staff to handle the increase in residential and mixed-use projects in Oregon. Travis C. Jansen joined as a project engineer and project manager. His experience includes transportation, residential and site development. Martin L. Zollner joined as a landscape architect. He has experience in park projects. R. Paul Knox joined as a project engineer. His experience includes roadway design, land use approvals, water resource engineering and hydrologic, and hydraulic evaluations. Amy N. Wooten joined as an associate planner, with experience in the public and private sectors. Rachel L. Slotto joined as a design technician.

MGH Associates of Vancouver recently added seven people to its staff. Leigh Sparhawk, an accountant, will restructure the accounting system and convert to new accounting software. Kristi Schragl is a project planner. She is working on Jade Place, Progress Ridge and Eagle Landing residential developments. Glenn Getscher is a project designer, who is working on Progress Quarry, Aurora Place and Murray Boulevard Road improvements. David Peterson, a drafting technician, is working on the village at Eagle Landing and Stone Ridge Summit residential developments. Bill Brannan, a project designer, is currently working on Clackamas Town Center, the University of Oregon Music Building and Oregon State University's large animal hospital. Jeannette Hollingsworth has been added as a receptionist. Wendy Miller is marketing manager. She will oversee branding, public relations and business development.

BLRB Architects of Tacoma has added five staff members. Ben Ferguson joined as a project architect/designer. He is working on the South Lake High School project for the Seattle School District. Bill Anderson joined as a construction administrator. He is working on the Bow Lake Elementary School project for Highline School District. Dan Schnabel is a construction administrator, and is working on Puyallup School District's G.W. Edgerton Elementary School. Christina Mills is a marketing assistant, and will serve on internal and external marketing and public relations tasks. Brian Bradley is a graphic designer. He will be the designer for all proposal and presentation supporting visuals, as well as advertising and branding materials.

PCS Structural Solutions has promoted and added several staff members in the Tacoma office. Eric Bailey, Kirk Keppler and Brett Oleson have been promoted to project managers. Bailey is working on Hood Canal Elementary School. Keppler has been involved with the Washoe Medical Center in Reno. Oleson is working on Mount Rainier High School. They have also added Jason Lambert, Kyle Murdock, Todd Parke, Sara Schwab, Rick Unruh III, Kenny Soldano and Nicholas Zimmerman to their staff. Kyle Eyre is a summer intern.

H3 Architects announced the addition of six to their staff. Tyler Eschmeyer brings seven years experience to the firm as a project manager. He is involved in the overall design and construction administration of the Sunserra Resort Community at Crescent Bar in Eastern Washington. Rickie Bond has been hired as a project manager working on various residential and commercial projects. She has six years of experience includes operating her own design/drafting firm, expertise in design and CAD drafting, as well as project coordination with clients and governing jurisdictions. Laura Hamre is a graduate of Clover Park Technical College Architectural Engineering Design program with an associate's degree in applied technology. She is involved with design and CAD operations of the firm's residential work on custom homes, addition and remodels. Kacia Heaney has three years of architectural experience and will be involved with design and production of residential and commercial projects. Danielle Ashley is a graduate of the Clover Park Technical College interior design program and will be involved with interior space planning and CADD operations with residential and commercial projects. Krystle Walther is an architectural student at Washington State University and will be completing a summer internship assisting the marketing department.

The Bellevue office of Parametrix recently hired Steve Fuller as a senior consultant to the environmental engineering and science group. Fuller has 28 years of engineering geologic consulting experience. He will be working on a regional contract and developing an impaired property redevelopment service line. The Bremerton office recently hired Aaron Vernik to add to the firm's environmental and geological capabilities. Vernik brings 16 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry and has extensive experience in managing and completing environmental assessments and remediation, varying from retail petroleum sites and chemical manufacturing plants to U.S. Navy facilities. He will be working on brownfields projects for Kitsap County and the Kitsap County Health District as well as assisting on EPA environmental investigation/cleanups in the Portland Harbor and Chehalis areas. Vernik will also be working on natural resource investigations for a local land development company and has provided oversight for an underground storage tank closure at the Bremerton Naval Complex.

Thomas Burkle joined Integrus as a project designer. Burkle is working on a new elementary school for the Lake Washington School District in Sammamish. Lindsay Ray joined as an interior designer. Ray is working on the Coyote Ridge Correctional Facility and Wenatchee Valley College's Allied Health Building. Trevor Lunde was hired as an intern architect for the sixth consecutive summer. Lunde is working on the Coyote Ridge Correctional Facility project. Alfredo Africa joined as IT support. Africa previously worked for Integrus as a structural drafter. Kim Stevens joined as an office manager.

ALSC Architects of Spokane hired Slavisa Mededovic as a designer/draftsman. He earned his bachelor's degree in engineering and design from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1985. Mededovic is working on projects including the Eastern Washington University Student Sports & Recreation Center and improvements to the Kootenai Shoshone Area Branch Libraries.

DCI Engineers

DCI Engineers added John Tessem as principal in the Bellevue office. Tessem has 20 years of experience in the design of large-scale, multi-story buildings. He has designed high-rise concrete structures, and recently completed design on a 50-story condominium tower in Las Vegas. Other projects include convention centers, hospitals, parking garages and aircraft hangars. Tessem is a member of the American Concrete Institute and a leader on the ACI Committee dealing with performance based seismic design of concrete buildings.

TVA Architects

TVA Architects announced the following additions to the Portland design team: architect Rob Curry and intern architect Staci Beck. Curry will work on major renovations to the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, in preparation for the the Olympic Track and Field Trials in summer 2008. Beck will assist on the Hayward Field project. Prior to joining TVA, she served in a variety of roles at MulvannyG2 Architecture and Bonneville Power Administration in Vancouver.

Quantum Consulting Engineers

Quantum Consulting Engineers announced that André Sidler has joined the firm as an engineer. He has six years of experience working as a structural engineer, and is currently the project engineer on the design of a three-story, 66,000-square-foot steel framed auditorium in southern California.
