Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects added five new employees. David Sisson has joined the architectural group and is working with the Providence Everett Medical Center design team. Ellen Campbell, LEED-accredited, has also joined the architectural group and is working with the Providence Everett Medical Center team. Julie Neiley has joined the interiors group as an intern. Priscilla Reed is on-site project administrator for the North Carolina Cancer Center and Physicians' Office Building in Chapel Hill, N.C. Cedric Demaret comes to Seattle from his native country of Belgium. Mary Ann Yashima has joined the administrative group and is working on the St. Joseph Hospital renovations, St. Anthony Hospital and ongoing projects on The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center campus.

W&H Pacific expanded its Olympia office with additional staff and new management positions. Susan Rants is both office manager and director of land development. Stacy Davis was promoted to director of transportation and oversees design and construction services for public works projects. Leslie Lahndt is senior project manager. Lahndt and Davis are involved on the Washington State Department of Ecology's Pierce County HOV construction project. Patrick Beehler continues as director of survey and is joined by Steven Ivey, one of 69 professional surveyors in the nation to obtain the Certified Federal Surveyor license. David Zevenbergen is a new project manager. Brian Matthews is a project engineer with experience in civil engineering. Other new staff include: Todd Schoenke as project designer/technician, Jillian Cady as office administrator and Danette Brannin as project assistant.

TVA Architects promoted five staff members to senior associate. They are Clint Cook, Robert Curry, Eric Li, Pamela E. Saftler and Tim Wybenga. Cook, LEED-accredited, is project manager on the Touchmark Heights Residential Campus in

Portland. Curry is project manager on Park Avenue West in Portland. Li is project manager on the Nike Child Development Center, slated to be a LEED platinum-certified daycare center on the Nike World Headquarters campus in Beaverton, Ore. Saftler is working on the LAIKA Animation Campus in Tualatin, Ore. Wybenga is a project designer and worked on the initial concept phases of the University of Oregon's new basketball arena.

CH2M HILL

CH2M Hill made new hires and promotions. Jeff Haight has been promoted to Northwest regional manager and senior vice president. Haight has 15 years of experience with CH2M Hill in engineering management and information solutions. John Franklin has been rehired to area manager and vice president of the Seattle office. He succeeds Dave Sturtevant, who has been promoted to sales director of Global Water Business Group. Franklin last worked with the city of Seattle Mayor's Office where he was chief of operations.

BCRA

BCRA in Tacoma has hired a new round of specialists. Phil Carpenter is a project manager who specializes in out-patient design services. Eli Alampay is an architect who will expand the urban mixed-use market. He is working on the Tacoma Musical Playhouse expansion. Herb Gabales will broaden corporate design services and is working on The Views on Fifth project in Olympia. Darci Niles is a new interior designer.

Magnuson Klemencic

Magnuson Klemencic hired new principals. Greg Briggs is a principal in museums. Pat Ryan is a principal in aviation. Brian Dickson is a principal in sports. Ola Johansson is a principal in hotels and housing.

Seattle-based Tetra Tech/KCM has made a series of new hires. Joe Llona is LEED-accredited and a certified sustainable building advisor. Mike Rehder is a LEED-accredited architect whose management experience includes Boeing's Future Factory project in Everett, Snohomish County's Campus Redevelopment Initiative and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport's South Terminal Expansion Project. Michael Lombardi is an architectural designer and has worked on municipal, commercial and zoological projects, including exhibits for the San Antonio and Los Angeles zoos. Seth Orgain specialized in residential construction in San Francisco for five years before moving to Seattle. Returning employee Richard Hensel is an electrical/control systems engineer with experience in energy management, electrical and controls engineering. Scott Gore is a project/electrical design engineer. He is working on projects for King County, Boeing and the city of Everett. Jesse Forsythe joins the electrical division's CAD team with experience in 3D Solid Modeling. He works on Autocad with an emphasis on security and fire alarm drawings and design. Lacey Brodigan is a project accounting specialist with two years experience at a Portland architectural firm.

MulvannyG2 Architecture promoted four members of its Bellevue retail team to associate. Maggie Cowgill and Elisabeth David were promoted in the Retail Environments Team. Candice Erikson and Mike Schulze were promoted in the Retail Concepts Team. Cowgill is working on projects for General Growth Properties. David is working on a project for Milliken Developments. Erikson is working on several projects for Sur La Table. Schulze is project manager for Kohl's.

Westmar Consultants hired Jerry Johnson as vice president of engineering. Johnson's background includes offshore drilling, inland waterway vessels, coastal facilities and mining. Matt Laccinole was recently promoted from manager to vice president of U.S. operations. Kirkland-based Westmar provides engineering services for industrial, marine and material handling construction projects.

Portland-based architecture firm Thomas Hacker Architects promoted Dana Ing-Crawford and Nathan Hamilton to associates. Ing-Crawford is LEED-accredited and concentrates on programming and project management. Projects include the Eugene City Hall complex and the Cargo Building at the U.S. Port of Entry at Blaine. Hamilton, LEED-accredited, is working on the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center in Santa Cruz, Calif. Past projects include a LEED-gold certified library for Multnomah County Library and the New Theatre for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Ore.

LRS Architects had added five people to the staff. Zlatan Hadrovic, Mark Vogel, Jeff Ovington and Chris Bachman join the firm as job captains with Gary Miniszewski as a senior planner. Hadrovic, a Bosnian national, has 33 years of experience that include infrastructure for the 1984 Sarajevo Olympic Games. Vogel has experience in health care, civic and education projects, and multi-family housing. Ovington is working on the Riverhouse Condominiums in Tualatin, Ore. Bachman returns as a job captain, a position he held for five years before a two-year hiatus in Illinois. Hadrovic, Vogel and Bachman are working on the Senior Living project in Sparks, Nev. Miniszewski has 35 years of experience as a city planner.

Callison

Callison promoted three senior staff members to principal: Robin Holt, John Mason and Ron Singler. Holt has 20 years of architectural experience in national and international hospitality, retail and mixed-use projects. Mason leads Callison's graphic design, with 25 years of experience. Singler leads retail design teams.

EDAW

EDAW made several staff promotions and additions in its Seattle office. Charles Everett has been promoted to managing principal. Sandy Fischer is director of planning and design. Jan Mulder is a senior environmental planner.

Hatton Godat Pantier

Bill Maibauer has joined Hatton Godat Pantier as a senior project engineer. Maibauer has 25 years experience in land development with an emphasis on water and sewer system design, construction cost estimating and preparation of specifications. His experience includes public, commercial, industrial and residential projects throughout Puget Sound.

Wood Harbinger

Wood Harbinger promoted Doug Bussard, Bruce Higgs and Erik Larson to senior associate. Bussard focuses on electrical distribution and utility systems, and worked at Tacoma Public Utilities and Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton. Higgs specializes in HVAC, plumbing, medical gas and fire suppression systems for military, industrial, health care and commercial projects. Larson, a mechanical and fire protection engineer, focuses on industrial systems including aircraft paint and maintenance hangars, special purpose warehouses and laboratories. Sean Bollen, Joe Leysath, Ralph Maier, Jim Meniketti, Murray Peck, Bruce Pitts and Dave Porter were promoted to associate.
