Berona Engineers in Lynnwood added six new staff members to its team.
Rey Delansig is a senior engineer with 25 years of consulting engineering experience. His projects include schools, commercial projects, casinos and industrial projects.
Kathi Shoemake is a mechanical engineer who graduated from Portland State University.

Aleta Gehrke and
Jason Olivar are CAD technicians.
Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects named
Carolyn Forsyth in-house sustainability advocate. Forsyth also serves as the chair of the Green Team, a group she founded with 110 members dedicated to raising the level of sustainable design expertise within the office. Her projects include a 11-story condo building in downtown Seattle that will be LEED silver and a senior housing project in Portland.
BHC Consultants recently hired
Dave Harms as senior engineer and
Greg Waddell as senior planner. Harms has 24 years of experience in stormwater, water and wastewater projects. His responsibilities include hydrologic and hydraulic model development and calibration, comprehensive plan preparation and project management. His projects include the Comprehensive Water Plan for Highline Water District, Comprehensive Stormwater Plan for Bellingham and a hydrologic analysis for a proposed Federal Way rezone. Waddell has 30 years of planning experience including master planning, urban design and environmental studies. His projects include Downtown Kelso Revitalization Plan, Sammamish Annexation Strategy Study and Freeland Sub-area Plan.
Landau Associates hired
Elizabeth Clark as an associate engineer in the Tri-Cities area. Her areas of expertise include environmental project management, environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, agency negotiations, litigation support and construction support.
CDi Engineers hired
Frank Snow as a senior mechanical designer at its Lynnwood office. Snow has 20 years of experience as a designer of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems for a variety of projects. He is working on tenant improvements for a high-technology corporate office building on a Redmond campus and the modernization/expansion of a new high school in Oak Harbor.
Interface Engineering in Portland made new hires to the Lighting Design Studio and announced that
Deborah Raines won two awards. Raines, a senior lighting designer, won awards from the Northwest Region of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America for her work on LEED registered Pacific University New Student Housing in Forest Grove, Ore., and for the Estacada City Library in Estacada, Ore.
Michael Larsen is a new senior lighting designer. Larsen has 10 years of experience as a lighting designer and is working on the Laika, Inc., animation studio design.
Sarah Donald is a new designer working on the Spirit Mountain Casino Expansion in Grand Ronde, Ore.
Herrera Environmental Consultants promoted four employees to principal in the firm.
José Carrasquero is a principal scientist. He is working on restoration and science projects for the Puget Sound Action Team and Island County.
Carla Cassidy is a marketing principal. She has 18 years of experience in environmental and engineering marketing.
Theresa Wood is a contracts principal. She serves as a liaison between clients and financial staff.
Rob Zisette is a principal scientist. He is working on microbial source tracking studies of Thornton and Pipers creeks in Seattle and post-remediation monitoring of the Eagle Harbor Superfund site on Bainbridge Island.
Callison has selected the participants in its one-year Fellowship Program. Fellows have a year to participate in educational activities and research a chosen topic. The fellows are Elijah Driscol, Roy Hague, Asuka Sakamoto, Tom Webster and Nicole Zheng. Driscol has worked on West Elm and Pottery Barn Kids. Hague has worked on Ann Taylor Loft and Washington Mutualand Wachovia. Sakamoto has worked on InOrbit HiTech Mall and Microsoft. Webster has worked on Hong Yi Plaza and Place Verdun. Zheng has worked on Kent Station and CRSHK Hangzhou CBD Development.
