Vancouver-based Hopper Dennis Jellison Engineers, Planners and Landscape Architects hired three employees. Autumn L. Burton joins the administrative team at the Vancouver office as the new engineering assistant. Burton replaces Natalie Morgan. Civil engineer Kristi Unholz joined the site development section at the Vancouver office. Unholz credits her time working for the city of Vancouver construction services department for her decision to become a civil engineer. The Oregon Branch has moved to a new location at 16760 S.W. Upper Boones Ferry Road in Portland and Elizabeth Thibodeau has joined the office. She worked in Portland, Maine, as a civil engineer.

Harmsen & Associates hired Bill Goodwin and Allison Raduziner. Goodwin joins the firm as senior engineer. He has more than 32 years of civil and transportation project experience and will provide project management and quality control training and oversight. Raduziner joins the firm as director of business development. She has 20 years of experience in business development with 15 years of that in the construction industry.

Robert Gorman joined HDR as a senior project manager for local agencies, based in the Bellevue office. Gorman managed the project management group in the Seattle Department of Transportation’s Capital Projects section. He has 15 years of experience managing complex transportation and civil engineering projects, including the Fremont Bridge Approach Replacement, University Way Multi-Modal, Northeast 50th Street Reconstruction and Sound Transit’s initial Link Light Rail.

Schacht Aslani Architects hired four new staff members: Robert Limanek, Matthew Swope, David Fuchs and Emily Doe. Limanek is a registered architect from Vermont with more than six years of experience in a wide variety of building types and with a specific interest in adaptive reuse. He is managing the Edison North Renovation project for Seattle Central Community College. Swope has more than three years of experience and is working on the Integrated Resources Center for North Seattle Community College. Fuchs has more than two years of experience. He is working on the Mount Baker neighborhood Fire Station No. 30, and the Business and Humanities Center for Peninsula College. Doe is a recent graduate and is coordinating project request reports for Peninsula College.

Belt Collins

Belt Collins hired Julie Schickling as a CAD and graphics manager. She most recently worked as a senior CAD technician on mixed-use and residential projects at Swenson Say Faget. Prior to that, at Teknograf, she worked with several engineering companies on projects for the Port of Seattle, WSDOT and the Seattle Department of Transportation.

Vignali has more than eight years of experience, in urban planning, multi-use and commercial developments, hospitality and high-end residential. She is working on Springbrook Inn & Village in Newberg, Ore. Dana has more than 10 years of experience. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and is working on the Avalon Queen Anne project in Seattle and Atria senior housing renovations in California. Parker's experience includes mid-rise mixed-use, high-rise, corporate campuses, master planning, historic remodels and renovation. He is working on a multi-family project on Sixth and Lenora in Seattle. Meredith Hall also joined GGLO as a landscape architecture designer. Hall's experience includes high-end housing and educational facilities. She is currently working on Shorewood Condominiums on Mercer Island, Greenbridge Parks in King County and the Burien Town Square open space.

NWME hired Steffen Teichmann to head its new electrical engineering department. Teichmann is a licensed electrical engineer in three states and has more than 17 years of experience in electrical engineering design and facilities maintenance engineering. His portfolio includes commercial, municipal, medical, and educational projects. He is working on Coeur d'Alene Pediatrics, Pioneer United Methodist Church and Inland Cardiology.

Sienna Architecture hired Richard Jordison and Barbara Browning in its architectural division and Anne Wood as administrative assistant, all in the Seattle office. Jordison is a LEED Accredited Professional and a registered architect in both California and Washington. He is the project manager for Allegro, a mixed-use condo tower in Portland. Browning was hired as a designer. She has more than 25 years of experience and is a registered architect in Germany. She is assisting in business development and project conception. Wood has more than 17 years of administrative experience.

Clark/Kjos Architects

Clark/Kjos Architects hired six new staff members. In the Seattle office, CKA hired Guy Maluda and Mark Wong as project managers and Cynthia Johnson as interior designer. In the Portland office, CKA hired Karin Wohlert and PV Osiago as project architects and interior designer Valerie Goeas.
