Callison

Callison promoted nine employees to director: Kipepeo Brown, Teresa Burrelsman, Darryl Custer, Tica Gordon, Michael Medina, Matthias Olt, Zivko Penzar, Michael Riggs and Barry Vaudrin.

SRG Partnership

SRG Partnership promoted Barney Mansavage to senior associate. Mansavage has more than 11 years of experience and has been with the Seattle office since it opened in 2003. He worked on Bellevue City Hall, the Museum of Flight and, before joining SRG, the Seattle Justice Center. Mansavage's most recent projects are at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Everett Community College in Everett, and a long-range plan for Southern Utah University.

NAC|Architecture

NAC|Architecture promoted Brent Compton and Randy Wilson to senior associates. Compton is project manager for Lakes High School in Lakewood and Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor. Wilson's major projects include the Washington State University Library Service Center and West Valley High School in Spokane. The firm also promoted five employees to associate: Michael Cole, Heidi Deaver, John Eckert, Stan Hargus and Rob Kuffel. Deaver is project manager on three elementary schools for Lake Stevens School District. Eckert is working on multiple projects for Holy Family Hospital in Spokane and Kootenai Medical Center. Cole is involved in projects for Mead School District and Spokane Public Schools. Hargus has more than 30 years of experience on a variety of public and private projects. Hargus is project manager for Snohomish High School, a multiphase, occupied GC/CM project in Snohomish. Kuffel is project architect for the Moses Lake Elementary School, and doing pre-design for projects at Eastern State Hospital.

Johnson Braund Design Group

Johnson Braund Design Group hired Carmen Sorensen as director of the interior design department. Sorensen has experience in casinos and hospitality projects, and will work to expand the interior design division.

IA Interior Architects

IA Interior Architects hired Karen Dahlstrom as an associate and director of operations in the Seattle office. Dahlstrom joins IA from NBBJ, where she worked on commercial interiors since 1991. She has more than 20 years of professional experience and served as president of the Northern Pacific Chapter of IIDA from 2006 to 2007. Dahlstrom's responsibilities will include overseeing major projects for Amazon.com, Expedia.com and Lithia Motors.

HDR

Bob Bandarra recently joined HDR as the Seattle water marketing manager. Bandarra will be responsible for business development and client management in the water and wastewater programs. He has more than 32 years of experience working for public agencies. Prior to joining HDR, Bandarra was the general manager at Clark Regional Wastewater District.

WHPacific

WHPacific announced the appointment of national business line managers to lead key areas of business. In the Northwest region, three of the national business line managers are Brad Bastin as transportation, Tom Jones as land development and Jon Warren as survey line manager. Bastin was formerly the transportation business line manager for Northwest operations, working out of the Seattle office. He has nearly 30 years of experience and has been with the company since 1989. Jones was formerly land development business line manager for Northwest operations, working out of the Portland office. He has more than 30 years of experience and has been with the company since 1984. Warren was formerly the survey business line manager for northwest operations, working out of the Seattle office. Warren has 24 years of professional survey experience, including 12 years in private practice and 12 years as the Snohomish County Surveyor. He has been with the company since 2006.

DLR Group

DLR Group hired retail architect Jeff Wasserman in its national retail and mixed-use design practice. Wasserman will work on building teams and growing the retail practice for DLR Group nationally. His past work includes international retail, mixed-use, hospitality, office, performing arts and health care. Wasserman has been in Seattle for three years.
