Kennedy/Jenks Consultants appointed Vice President and Principal Engineer
James W. Graydon to the newly created federal programs group. Graydon has more than 25 years of experience in project and program management for civil and environmental engineering projects. He has expertise in infrastructure, facilities and environmental projects with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Park Service.
Tres West Engineers of Tacoma made several promotions and hires. Steve Fintak was promoted to associate principal. Fintak has experience in mechanical design, cost estimating, construction administration and project management. Fred Reno and David Moore were promoted to associates. Reno has more than 17 years of experience, including electrical design and construction administration. Moore has expertise in energy analysis and computerized design software, and has practical experience with mechanical systems layout. Sean Roy was hired as a senior electrical designer. He has more than 15 years of experience as a design engineer and is lighting certified and LEED 2.0 accredited.
Historical Research Associates, a cultural resource management, litigation support and historical research consulting firm, has hired
Shari Silverman and
Natalie Perrin. Silverman is a project archaeologist working out of Seattle. She has 15 years of experience in archaeological, geological, hydrological, geomorphological and statistical research. Perrin is a research architectural historian based in Portland. She has worked for the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.
Seattle-based Caron Architecture hired
Marguerite Jamieson to lead the expanded clinical and institutional medical facility design services. Jamieson has more than 15 years of experience designing and managing health care projects, and worked on the Northwest Hospital and Medical Center, Olympic Medical Park and the Seattle Orthopedic Center.
Pb Elemental Architecture has hired
Brian Cavanaugh as a principal. He has more than 15 years of experience. Prior to joining the firm he worked for design firms in Los Angeles, Boston and New Zealand. He was most recently principal at Arai Jackson Ellison Murakami.
Trindera Engineering, an electrical and control systems engineering and consulting firm based in Coeur d'Alene, hired Justin Roberts as an electrical drafter. Roberts is a recent grad.

Melissa Whitmarsh in the Spokane office as front desk coordinator, and
Charlie Berrier as a special inspection technician. Whitmarsh was with Hahn Engineering. Berrier was with the city of Los Angeles.
Seattle Design Build, a design-build architectural firm specializing in residential remodels in the Puget Sound region, hired
Deborah Olson as design manager and
Adrian Parke as project manager. Olson was at a design-build firm specializing in new home construction in Omaha. Parke is a recent grad.

William McCarthy as senior project manager. McCarthy was a consulting engineer with many large national engineering firms. His recent projects include design of the Lighthouse Point Water Reclamation Facility in Whatcom County, the King County biosolids work plan, and several projects to upgrade the Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Michael Cailao as an associate and senior electrical designer. Cailao is a senior electrical designer with more than 25 years of experience in lighting design. His project experience includes The Press Club – Four Seasons Hotel, Terminal Radar Approach Control, Asian Council Referral Service Building, USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center, Capitol Hill Library, Seattle Parks Ball Field Lighting Study (ACEC Award) and UW McMahon Hall Dinning Facility.
