Exeltech Consulting

Rogers
Exeltech Consulting hired Karen Rogers to oversee regional business development. Rogers was Port Angeles mayor from 2006 to 2007, served on the city council for eight years and operates a consulting firm in that city. Rogers also was president of the Association of Washington Cities. She will be based in the Port Angeles office. Exeltech is based in Lacey and provides civil and structural engineering, environmental consulting and construction-management.

Hart Crowser

Winter
David Winter, a geotechnical engineer with 29 years of experience, has rejoined Hart Crowser. He previously worked at the firm for 19 years. Winter will oversee geotechnical design. He has been responsible for nearly 40 deep excavation and high-rise building developments; federal environmental contracts; remote site logistics for exploration and cleanup; and projects in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Brazil. Hart Crowser is an employee-owned environmental and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, with offices in Edmonds and Portland.

Parametrix

Cushman
Parametrix hired Rebecca Cushman as a lead stormwater design engineer in its Bellevue office. Cushman has 14 years experience and specializes in stormwater facilities for transportation projects and civil design for stormwater conveyance and treatment. She will also focus on low impact stormwater treatment. She developed a stormwater consulting program at a local consulting firm. Cushman also provided technical consulting, produced construction plans, procured permits and handled feasibility studies and cost analysis. Parametrix is an employee-owned engineering and planning firm with offices in the western United States.

BergerABAM

Elliott
Marcus Elliott has joined BergerABAM's Federal Way office. He has 10 years in highway design that includes conceptual and feasibility studies, geometric and hydraulic design, plans production, estimates and specifications. Elliott also has done project management and coordination, scheduling and accounting, and has been liaison to public agencies and subconsultants. He is working on the East-West corridor project for Yakima County. BergerABAM has offices in Federal Way, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Las Vegas and Houston.

Kleinfelder

Strawn
Tim Strawn has joined Kleinfelder's Redmond office as vice president/segment lead for global industrial markets. Strawn will focus on compliance, permitting and risk analysis, and build new service platforms for new and existing clients. He has 20 years of environmental management and consulting, including assignments in Canada, Western/Eastern Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Most recently, he was at ExxonMobil Environmental Services. Kleinfelder provides consulting services.

Rice Fergus Miller

Sharma
Rice Fergus Miller Architecture & Planning has hired designer Sneh Sharma. She has experience in medical planning and design, from renovations to hospitals and campus planning. She also has background in programming, sustainability, master planning and design research. Rice Fergus Miller is a Bremerton-based architecture, interior design and planning firm.

Yost Grube Hall

The Portland architecture firm Yost Grube Hall Architecture has added Richard Grace, Lona Rerick and Phillip Lopez to its ownership group. Grace has 13 years as a designer of institutional, commercial and mixed-use development projects. His work with sustainable projects includes the LEED gold Humboldt State University Behavioral & Social Sciences Building. He is a project designer for U.S. Department of State projects. Rerick has 13 years in architecture and interior design. She is a project architect and sustainability/LEED coordinator at YGH and a former chair of the AIA Portland chapter's committee on the environment. She is working on Department of State projects and Central Oregon Community College's Health Careers, Culinary Instructional and Science buildings. Lopez is a design assistant at YGH experienced in schematic and design development and construction documentation and administration. He is working on Department of State projects. The 60-person firm provides planning, architecture and interior design.

BOE architects

BOE architects hired Albert A. de Santis as an architect. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon in architecture and registered in Washington. He is managing the design of Fort Lewis Town Center residential and mixed-use projects.

Schacht Aslani Architects

Schacht Aslani Architects hired Michael Bartolome and Jean Stolzman. Bartolome has 10 years of architectural experience on commercial and industrial projects, from small office improvements to large mixed-use projects. He was previously at Callison. Stolzman, an architect, has 20 years of experience on educational, corporate and public projects, including design, construction documentation and project management. She is working on the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History long range development plan and the Technology Building at North Seattle Community College.
