In its Seattle office, Perkins+Will promoted Andrew Clinch to associate principal and Molly Baker, Deborah Horn, Cameron Hall, Holly Herzer and Edward Palushock to associate. Clinch is a project manager, designer and project architect with nearly 20 years of experience. He focuses on higher education, office and science and technology projects, and his work includes the University of Washington Life Sciences Building. Baker is an interior design leader at the firm who recently completed Northeastern University's expansion at Terry & Thomas. Horn has 24 years of experience in accounting, 10 with Perkins+Will, and manages the financial aspects of the Seattle office. Hall is an architect with 30 years of experience in commercial, transit and civic projects. He is working on a mixed-use office project at 701 Ninth Ave. in Seattle. Herzer is an architect with nine years of experience in health care, higher education, commercial and science and technology projects. Her work includes the Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle. Palushock is a senior project architect with over 20 years of experience, including The Atrium, a spec office/research lab project in Seattle. The Perkins+Will Seattle office works on higher education, health care, corporate, commercial, civic, and science and technology projects.

Schafer is project architect for Elysian K-8 School and Medicine Crow Middle School in Billings, Montana. Boeholt is a structural engineer with 18 years of experience in educational, civic and commercial facilities, with work that includes Sammamish High School. Engels is an interior designer, with projects that include Sequim Civic Center. Zwanzig is a project engineer with the structural engineering group. Rolluda Architects hired Paul Dorn as a senior project architect and manager, and Tara Augustad and Maryam Alaeddini as project designers. Dorn was formerly with Harthorne Hagen Architects. He specializes in K-12 educational, commercial and industrial projects. He is working on government, Boeing and K-12 projects. Augustad is working on higher education projects, including the WSU Multicultural Center. Alaeddini has worked on projects for architectural firms in Canada and the U.S. She has a background in housing, malls, office buildings, interior design and master planning, and is working on a park in Tacoma.

Bill Webb joined Stantec's Bellevue office as a senior project manager in the water and environmental services practices. Webb will do business development and project management. He has spent over 25 years managing stormwater and brownfield projects. Before joining Stantec, he was program manager for the environmental division of a global design firm where he worked on a science-based master plan and watershed characterization for Bremerton. Stantec consults in planning, engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental sciences, project management and project economics.

In Seattle, Hart Crowser hired Aaron Wisher as GIS specialist/geologist, Nicole Campbell as a geotechnical engineer, Michael Pagel as an environmental geologist, Jamalyn Green as an environmental engineer, Amy McMillin and Hunter Smoak as field geologists, Anita Wahler as an editor, and University of Washington student Abbas Ganji as a geotechnical intern. In Vancouver, it hired geotechnical engineers Jim Alders and Joe Strobel, and in Portland it hired geologist Kirk Warner. Wisher has 15 years of experience in GIS analysis for projects in marine, urban and remote areas. He has worked for the US Navy and the state. Campbell holds a master's in civil (geotechnical) engineering from Colorado State University and is supporting the Mukilteo ferry project. Pagel has nine years of experience with geotechnical and environmental projects, and is supporting projects for Ecology and Seattle City Light. Green has five years of experience and a master's from the University of Washington. She has done projects for Chevron and will work with industrial clients at Hart Crowser. McMillin has a master's in geology from the University of Idaho and experience as a US Forest Service wildland firefighter. She is working on the Second and Pine high-rise in Seattle. Smoak has three years of experience with geotechnical construction oversight. He is working on 1007 Stewart Street in Seattle. Wahler has over 25 years of experience, including technical writing, editing, and grant development. Alders has five years of geotechnical engineering experience with roads, retaining walls and utility projects. He is working on Barlow Point shipping terminal for the Port of Longview. Strobel has a master's from Portland State University and is working on high-rise projects. Warner has 25 years of experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects and is working on environmental assessments for road improvements. Hart Crowser is an environmental and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, with offices in Edmonds, Vancouver, Portland, Anchorage and Honolulu.

McMillen Jacobs Associates

McMillen Jacobs Associates hired Henry Spieker as a principal. Spieker has over 25 years of construction experience, including buildings, bridges, highways, airports, light rail, power plants and water treatment plants. He has also worked on petrochemical, prison, golf course, commercial and housing projects, and been an expert witness. McMillen Jacobs Associates is a San Francisco-based engineering and construction firm.

Seattle-based Confluence Environmental Co. hired Connie Walker Gray as a senior architectural historian. Gray has over 15 years of experience in cultural resources management and environmental planning. She prepares documentation for Seattle's Landmarks Preservation Board, and is on the Columbia City Landmark District Review Committee. Confluence works on natural resources projects.

Toni Smith rejoined the Tacoma office of Landau Associates as a senior project hydrogeologist in the environmental group and Cody Johnson was hired as a senior engineer in the Edmonds environmental group. Smith was a permitting and compliance specialist with the Washington State Department of Ecology's water resources program for the past two years. Johnson has a background in environmental due diligence, site characterization, remediation design, and hazardous building materials survey work. Edmonds-based Landau provides geotechnical and environmental engineering, remediation, permitting and compliance services.
