McCaw concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, gift and estate taxation, probate and the law of exempt organizations.

Imagio, a Seattle-based advertising and public relations company, has hired five employees in its interactive division: Amie Frickel is director of project management, Dennis Gray joins the agency as associate director of technology, Alley Rutzel is a new associate director of design, Rusty Willoughby is interactive art director, and Michael Winburn is a project manager.

MPM Technologies

MPM Technologies, a Spokane-based holding company, announced Joseph Kilraine has been hired as president and chief operations officer of the company. Kilraine was most recently president of ROE Partners, a company that purchases, owns, manages and operates corporations in diverse industries. Kilraine has held numerous senior operating positions in the U.S. and internationally in the chemical and process industries, including over 11 years in top management positions at Olin Corp.

NetUpdate

NetUpdate, a Redmond-based supplier of collaborative transaction applications to the mortgage industry, announced the appointment of Chris Dishman as chief financial officer. Dishman joins the company with more than 17 years of financial and high-tech experience. Before coming to NetUpdate, he worked at Pointshare Corp. as vice president of finance/controller, where he participated in raising $60 million in venture capital

HAL Real Estate Investments

Brad Lange joined Seattle-based HAL Real Estate Investments as vice president. Lange, who previously spent 10 years with a major public pension fund, is responsible for Seattle-area acquisitions and project management.

Qpoint Home Mortgage Network

Greg Olson joined Bellevue-based Qpoint Home Mortgage Network as chief financial officer. Qpoint said Olson, a CPA and certified management consultant, has more than 20 years experience in operations, human resources management, information systems, accounting and finance. Olson is completing a master's degree in organization management. Qpoint also promoted 2.5-year employee Lisa Hepler to director of mortgage banking. Also, Tony Fadale joined Qpoint as sub-prime lending manager. Fadale's 14 years of mortgage banking experience include work with American Savings Bank and First National Bank.

HomeStar Lending

Rich Hallman joined HomeStar Lending of Everett as senior loan officer in its Lakeside office, responsible for originating Snohomish County loans. Hallman came from 3.5 years as a senior loan consultant with Washington Mutual Savings. HomeStar, owned by Richard and Sherrie Henk, formerly was Qpoint Lakeside.

MetStream Communications

MetStream Communications of Portland, which provides wiring for apartments and hotels, completed a $4 million Series A preferred private stock offering to fund expansion in the Northwest. The Silicon Valley venture capital firm Vertex underwrote the offering along with Integrated Electrical Services Inc., the nation's largest electrical and communications contracting company. MetStream designs, installs and upgrades high-density residential and hospitality properties with fiber optics, twisted-pair wiring and broadband access equipment.
