Banner Bank

Banner Bank added Kirk Johnson as vice president and Bellevue commercial real estate loan officer and promoted Jody Norton to metro east division operations manager. In Seattle, Craig Manalili was promoted to client manager at the bank's Belltown lending center.

Johnson has more than 16 years of experience in residential builder lines of credit, site acquisition and development. Norton has 20 years of experience as a manager at the Woodinville branch of US Bank. Manalili was a relationship manager at US Bank in Seattle.

Banner Corp. is the parent of Banner Bank, a commercial bank headquartered in Walla Walla.

America's Foundation for Chess

America's Foundation for Chess has appointed five to its Western Washington chapter board of directors: Ruby Smith-Love, director of the Gates Endowment at United Way of King County, Tom Lawry, founder of Verus Corp., David Norris, founder of OnRequest Images, Lisa Johnsen, tax partner at Preston Gates & Ellis, and Terri Lingenbrink of law offices of Steven G. Lingenbrink.

America's Foundation for Chess is a nonprofit that promotes chess in 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms.

Keith Tinnin and Patrick Nauman have rejoined Great American River Journeys, a Seattle-based cruise line. Tinnin is executive director of hotel operations and has more than 30 years of cruise and hotel management experience. Nauman is Columbia Queen's hotel manager.

KCTS

KCTS Television's general manager Randy Brinson will head on-air fundraising and membership services. Director of Marketing Jay Parikh will oversee corporate development, gifts and outreach.

Brinson has 25 years' experience as an executive producer and senior director. He oversees programming, broadcast operations and engineering.

EvergreenBank signed a lease for a full-service branch to be located at 1111 Third Ave. in Seattle. The branch is slated to open for business in mid-2005. Other offices are on Eastlake Avenue and at South Lake Union.

EvergreenBank is a subsidiary of EvergreenBancorp, a bank holding company headquartered in Seattle.

Cray

Global supercomputer company Cray appointed Mamoru Nakano president of Cray Japan. Nakano was with Hewlett Packard as general manager for HPC and Linux in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. Nakano will create Cray Japan's marketing and sales strategy.
