Riddell Williams

James Breitenbucher rejoined the Seattle law firm Riddell Williams as principal. Breitenbucher will work in the National Product Liability Practice. He originally joined the company in 1999, then worked with Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York City.

The Seattle office of Brueggeman and Johnson Yeanoplos, a financial consulting firm, hired Asenath R. Partee. Partee is a tax attorney and project valuation analyst. Brueggeman and Johnson Yeanoplos has offices in Seattle, Tucson and Salt Lake City.

Attenex Corp.

Seattle-based Attenex Corp., an e-discovery software provider, hired Ashley B. Watson as vice president and general counsel. Watson was a senior litigation counsel at Bellsouth.

Foster Pepper

Milton Rowland joins Foster Pepper as an of counsel in its litigation practice group. Rowland was Spokane's assistant city attorney. Foster Pepper has offices in Seattle, Spokane and Portland.

Bullivant Houser Bailey

Portland-based law firm Bullivant Houser Bailey hired Russell G. Cofano as of counsel attorney in the Seattle office's real estate group. Cofano has worked with the Washington Association of Realtors and LandAmerica Commercial Services.

Port of Longview

Port of Longview Commissioner Larry Larson, the longest serving longshore commissioner in the history of the West Coast and the longest serving Port of Longview commissioner, announced his retirement. Larson was appointed in June of 1978. The Port of Longview is a full-service operating port on the Columbia River.

Washington State Department of Revenue

The Washington State Department of Revenue won the 2007 Award for Outstanding Management and Organizational Initiative from the Federation of Tax Administration for the second year in a row. The Department of Revenue won the award for developing a system that allows people to file unclaimed property claims online. The federation's members are the tax and revenue departments of the 50 states, District of Columbia, New York City and Puerto Rico.

Parity Corp.

Bothell-based Parity Corp. named Adam Herman director of Parity Consulting. Herman succeeds Tom Williams, who was promoted to president of Parity Corp. Robbie Harding will support Herman as manager of Parity Consulting. Parity delivers food industry software and services.

Seattle Citizens Service Bureau

Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels picked Darby DuComb as his choice for director of the Citizens Service Bureau. The bureau provides information, solves problems and resolves complaints regarding any city department. DuComb will take over the post from Cynthia Phillips, who has served as acting manager.
