United States District Court

The U.S. Senate has confirmed President Bush's nomination of Benjamin H. Settle of Shelton as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He will have chambers in Tacoma, filling a judgeship vacant since 2005. Settle helped found the law firm of Settle & Johnson.

Seattle Symphony

Carolyn Kuan has been appointed Seattle Symphony's Douglas F. King Associate Conductor. Kuan has been assistant conductor during the current season. She was assistant conductor of the North Carolina Symphony and Baltimore Opera Co.

BluWater Consulting

BluWater Consulting, a Kirkland-based IT consulting and staffing firm, added Jeffery L. Schaefer as vice president of sales and delivery. Schaefer has more than 20 years of experience in health care information technology, consulting, project management and business development.

EvergreenBancorp

EvergreenBancorp, the holding company for EvergreenBank, named Janice Siebenaler the Federal Way branch manager. She has nearly 30 years of banking experience, all in customer service and supervisory roles.

Seattle Street of Dreams

The Seattle Street of Dreams will run from July 14 to Aug. 19 in Quinn's Crossing near Woodinville. There will be five homes in the show. The developer is Yarrow Bay Development Co. Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

Northwest law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt hired Anne B. Tiura as a lawyer in the Seattle office. Tiura specializes in commercial real estate and last worked at Heller Ehrman.

Wells Fargo Private Bank

Wells Fargo Private Bank hired Marco Abbruzzese as Bellevue regional manager. Abbruzzese was with Citigroup Private Bank. The Wells Fargo Private Bank offers investment products and services.

Dry Soda

Seattle-based Dry Soda Co. hired Douglas Aitken as vice president of sales. Aitken will be based in Los Angeles and recently worked for Fiji Water. Dry Soda is an all natural, non-caffeinated beverage.

Infinia Corp.

Kennewick-based Infinia Corp. has partnered with Emergence BioEnergy of Lexington, Mass., to develop a product that will help developing nations produce electricity and heat. Infinia will combine its methane-operated generator with EBI's system of generating electricity on a sustainable basis from locally available fuel sources.

aQuantive

Seattle-based aQuantive hired Tom Woods as vice president of business planning and analysis, and Tom Phillips as vice president of communications. Woods has 20 years experience and was with Washington Mutual. Phillips has 25 years of experience and was with DDB Seattle. aQuantive is a global digital marketing company.
