Campaign Disclosure Project

The Campaign Disclosure Project, a national survey of campaign finance disclosure requirements and public access to campaign information, ranked Washington first in the nation in campaign disclosure. This is Washington's fourth consecutive first-place ranking. The project is conducted by the UCLA School of Law, the Center for Governmental Studies and the California Voter Foundation. It is supported by the Pew Charitable Trusts.

American Society for Public Administration

The Evergreen Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration announced new officers. They are J. Paul Blake, president; Mary Van Verst, secretary; and R. Peggy Smith, treasurer. Gary Walker is immediate past president.

Shoreline Bank

Shoreline Bank opened a full service retail branch in Monroe. The new branch is located in the Lake Tye Building on Fryelands Boulevard Southeast. Jackie Stafford, operations manager, will lead the branch team.

Everett-based Pacific Continental Shippers has renamed itself ClearPointt. The company, a logistics and transportation service provider, was launched four years ago.

Arctic Club Hotel Seattle

The Arctic Club Hotel Seattle announced sales staff appointments. Paul Sposare, is director of sales and marketing. He has 20 years experience and worked at Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle. Brooke Byrne is director of catering. Byrne worked at the Plateau Club in Sammamish. Ryan Schlemmer is senior sales manager. He worked at the Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle.

SB Premier Brands

SB Premier Brands, the exclusive licensee of the Born Menswear Line, opened a new corporate headquarters in downtown Seattle. The new office is 2,500 square feet and has a design and merchandising studio, business operations, sales office and showroom.
