Pacific Continental Bank made a series of promotions. Fred Holubik is senior credit officer. Michael Gaberman is commercial banking and relationship banking team leader. Ken Yokoyama is commercial banking team leader. Holubik, Gaberman and Yokoyama will retain their titles of senior vice president. Debra Hauser is senior vice president. Katerina Kouznetsova is vice president.
Bellingham-based Pier Systems, a provider of software and professional services to help organizations manage communications, hired Stephen Wood as regional vice president. Wood will lead the company in expanding its Southwest sales efforts based in Los Angeles. He recently worked in New Orleans building new homes and commercial buildings after Hurricane Katrina.
The Association of Washington Business awarded the 2008 C. David Gordon Award to Ralph Munro for his civic leadership. Munro was secretary of state from 1980 to 2001 and has been president of the Seattle Rotary Club No. 4. He currently sits on the boards of directors for several companies including Dategrity. The Gordon Award is AWB's highest award for civic achievement and recognizes people who have made a difference to the state through public service.
Seattle-based Point B Solutions Group, a professional-services firm specializing in project leadership, hired Mike Pongon as chief operating officer. Pongon has 12 years experience and recently led the Portland and Los Angeles offices. He has worked with the company since 2000.

Providence Mount St.Vincent in West Seattle, a care facility for older adults, hired Tom Mitchell as administrator of skilled nursing. Mitchell has been with the company for four years in a number of posts.
Seattle-based Golden Lasso, a marketing, communications and design firm, hired Sarah Steiger to the design team. Steiger worked as a designer and art director at Cassis, an Indianapolis design firm.
Renton-based Alliance Credit Services changed its name to Alliance 2020 to better reflect its range of services. The firm's services have changed from providing credit reports to providing employment screening, tenant screening, mortgage credit reporting, business credit reports, fingerprinting, notary services and drug testing.
Griffin, Hill & Associates, a Seattle-based management consulting firm, hired Joann Francis as president. Francis is a lawyer who was Sound Transit's chief administrative officer.
Harborstone Credit Union in Lakewood promoted Phil Jones to president and chief operating officer. Jones will assume the role of CEO at the end of the year, when Rick Schmidtke retires. Jones was senior vice president and chief financial officer.
