Seattle Public Schools

Seattle Public Schools hired Susan Enfield as chief academic officer, following a national search. Enfield was recently deputy superintendent of Evergreen Public Schools, a district of more than 26,000 students based in Vancouver.

Riddell Williams

Law firm Riddell Williams hired Heidi Drivdahl as principal. Drivdahl is a corporate and securities lawyer and focuses her practice on emerging companies, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and general corporate and securities representations.

Davis Wright Tremaine

Josh Rataezyk has rejoined Davis Wright Tremaine's Seattle office as an associate and a member of its credit recovery and bankruptcy and litigation practice groups. Rataezyk was assistant general counsel at GE Capital Franchise Finance.

Allegra Print & Imaging

After 23 years as Land Printing Corp., the Bothell-based print communications provider has re-branded itself as Allegra Print & Imaging. Owner Jeff Pascoe said the name coincides with a new approach to business. Allegra offers traditional and advanced printing, and is located at 10201 Main St.

Miller Nash

Five Miller Nash attorneys in Portland have helped found the Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association. They are Elisa Dozono, Hong Huynh, Josh Sasaki, Valerie Sasaki and Joelle Tavan. The association is Oregon's newest bar organization and is committed to serving Asian Pacific American attorneys.

FundBunch

FundBunch, a new company in Kirkland, recently launched its Web site at http://www.fundbunch.com. FundBunch provides customers with online tools designed to increase the effectiveness of fundraising efforts. Among the tools is ‘Fund Hub,' which allows users to promote their fundraising efforts and securely accept credit card contributions.

Seattle City Council

The Seattle City Council hired Debra Carnes as communications manager for the Legislative Department. Carnes has 20 years of strategic communications experience and was recently Gov. Chris Gregoire's speechwriter.

Taproot Theatre

Taproot Theatre Co. in Seattle hired Nathan Jeffrey, a theatre artist and educator, as its new outreach director. Jeffrey replaces Josiah Wallace, who is leaving to pursue an MFA in directing at Baylor University. Jeffrey was the founding artistic director of Logos Theatre Co. in Kansas City, Mo.
