McAdams Wright Ragen

McAdams Wright Ragen, a Seattle-based investment firm, has opened a branch office in Yakima. This is the company's first office in Eastern Washington. The full-service brokerage is located in downtown Yakima and will cater to retail investors in Central Washington. Gary Staples, Dan Sullivan, Doug Warren and Carly Mestaz will lead the office, all having previously served with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo, the Italian luxury fashion house, will open its first store in the Pacific Northwest at The Shops at The Bravern in Bellevue. The store is scheduled to open September 12th in 1,900 square feet of space. It will have women's and men's shoes, leather and silk accessories, sunglasses, handbags and fragrance.

Holland America

Holland America Line hired Pamela Baade as manager, corporate giving. Baade spent 16 years as manager of education and volunteer programs for Weyerhaeuser Co. Foundation.

Seattle-based Spacecraft Clothing, a designer of hand-crafted clothing and accessories for the snowboard and skate markets, hired Kevin O'Brien as vice president, sales. O'Brien has 15 years experience and previously worked with NHS and O'Neill Wetsuits, Sportswear and Snow.

Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar in Seattle hired Wayne Taniguchi to lead the raw bar and sushi program at the restaurant. Taniguchi was previously executive chef at Flo Japanese Restaurant in Bellevue.

Emeritus Senior Living of Seattle, a national provider of assisted living and Alzheimer's and related dementia care services to senior citizens, promoted Chris Hyatt to senior vice president – operations. Hyatt has worked at Emeritus for eleven years and was recently vice president of operations for the Southeast Division.
