Students at Walla Walla Community College's Enology and Viticulture program are making world-class wines. Three College Cellars wines were awarded medals from the 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The 2008 Walla Walla Valley Sangiovese and the 2009 Columbia Valley Syrah received silver medals. The 2008 Walla Walla Valley Governor's Red won bronze. The wines were produced under the direction of enology instructor Tim Donahue.
Seattle based law firm Ryan Swanson & Cleveland elected John Ruhl, Bryan Graff and Gulliver Swenson as firm members. Ruhl was previously of counsel. He now practices in the Banking Services, Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy and Employment, Benefits & Labor Groups. Graff was an associate and practices in Ryan Swanson's Litigation group. Swenson will move from an associate to continue focus in litigation.
In 2011, Cort acquired Seattle-based ABC Special Event Rentals. Cort reopened its Tukwila showroom, which has special event rentals, and residential and commercial rental furniture. The showroom is at 230 Andover Park E.

Law firm Riddell Williams elected Rebecca Andrews to principal. Andrews is a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her work includes counseling, training and litigation for employers, business clients and nonprofits.

Banner Bank hired Frank Spicer as vice president and relationship manager. Spicer will handle commercial lending duties and has nearly 30 years of experience in banking.
Seattle Children's Mill Creek Clinic opened a walk-in Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic treats children, teens and young adults ages 0-21 needing non-emergency medical care in the evenings, weekends and holidays. No appointments or referrals are necessary. It is in the Providence Mill Creek Medical Building, 12800 Bothell Everett Highway, in Everett.

The Port of Everett hired Jeff Bearman as marina director. Bearman has 20 years of experience with public and private marinas. His career has been spent managing marinas in Hawaii. Bearman replaces Scott Grindy, who left the port to pursue other opportunities.
The TAS Group, a sales performance automation company, hired Will Wiegler as chief marketing officer. Wiegler is responsible for global marketing and was vice president of marketing at BigMachines, a cloud software company.
NAES Corp., an Issaquah-based provider of services to the energy industry, hired Mark Reblitz as director of corporate development and Matt Dearmon as manager of corporate development. Reblitz has 15 years of experience leading projects and was director of corporate development for Cardiac Science. Dearmon worked at CTC Cable Corp.
