Market Enginuity hired Brenda Senderoff and Cheri Singer to the underwriting team for 88.5 KPLU and KING FM. Senderoff has experience in advertising sales and marketing, recently at Encore Media Group. Singer has experience in advertising sales, also at Encore Media Group. Market Enginuity provides underwriting sales departments to public media clients.
Bellevue-based AAA Washington hired Jim Ryan as chief information officer. Ryan has 30 years of IT experience, recently with Symetra Financial as assistant vice president and director of enterprise services. AAA Washington provides roadside assistance, discounts, maps and trip planning,
Bellevue Downtown Association gave Lane Powell shareholder Grant S. Degginger the 2011 Place Making Award for Leadership. Degginger was the mayor of Bellevue from 2006-2010, and has been a councilmember and planning commission member.
Howard Jensen, Josh Brower, Alison Robinson and Denver Gant have formed Veris Law Group PLLC in downtown Seattle. Jensen focuses on real estate development; Brower on land use, real estate and business; Robinson on environmental and real estate law; and Gant on environmental, real estate, business, trusts, estates and taxation.

Saint Martin's University hired Louise Kaplan as director for its new RN-to-BSN program. It will let registered nurses earn a bachelor of science in nursing degree beginning this fall. Kaplan was a senior policy fellow at the American Nurses Association in Silver Spring, Md.
Keiretsu Forum, a group of private equity investors, announced $24 million was raised by 36 companies through Keiretsu Forum Northwest, which covers the Seattle, Eastside, Portland and Boise chapters. Of the 36 funded companies, 29 are from the Northwest, including 4-Tell, BroVo Spirits, LoanTek, Pacific West Land and Vizit.
Sandusky Broadcasting Seattle hired Brad Nolan for an on-air position at Modern Music KLCK-FM Click 98.9. Nolan worked at Clear Channel Los Angeles.
Seattle's Convention and Visitors Bureau hired Andea Fahland as director of member services. Fahland has nine years experience in hospitality and recently worked at The Capital Grille.
